The Fairfield by Marriott was excellent. They had upgraded our room from a Deluxe with a city view to one with a view of the Taj Mahal, so that was a wonderful surprise. The staff was fantastic. Special mention to Zeeshan, Preshant and our driver, Kasim. Zeeshan arranged all our travel and exploration plans, airport transportation and even last minute requests with such ease and excellence. He was so responsive to connect with thru WhatsApp. Preshant was our contact at the front desk and was so very accomodating and helpful. Kasim always met us at the arranged time, was so patient when we made stops and helped us navigate Agra.

That we didn't have more time there!

The hotel provided us with an all inclusive tour package, coming with a driver and guide. The guide stays with you the whole day (we went to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Arts Museum, lunch and a family of craftsmen). We were with a family of 4 and the concierge of the helpdesk, Zeeshan, helped us with a lot of tips. Anjali from the frontdesk took care of a smooth check in/out process and was very helpful with our requests.

It is a bit busy on the side of the building as there are kids in cars, a mall etc. which was a bit annoying when wanting to retire early. And the location of the hotel is good, 15 min drive to the Taj but in the direct neighborhood it was a bit unsafe to walk and go sightseeing.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Our room was nice, nothing spectacular but good for a one-night stay. We had dinner at the hotel with a 20% discount on the buffet. Our room price included breakfast which was varied and had both Indian and Western dishes. We were on the same floor with the gym but didn't use it, it looked good though.

Dinner buffet was advertised with a leaflet that had photos of tomato mozzarella salad and other cheese, but none of that was part of the buffet. So we were a bit disappointed as we were looking forward to Western food.

A spacious, well-designed room with a comfortable bed and a clean, modern bathroom is essential for relaxation. I value good connectivity, so reliable Wi-Fi and convenient charging points are must-haves. A friendly, responsive staff and efficient service add to the overall experience. It’s always a bonus when the hotel offers a well-curated breakfast with diverse options and an on-site restaurant for casual meals. Proximity to key attractions or business centers is also important, as it allows for easy exploration or meetings without long commutes. Just to mention Shashank and duty manager Nisha are very helpful hospitable. Last not the least Mr Mehta who has taken charge a month back and between my earlier and this stay a lot of things have changed under his leadership! Way to go Team Fairfield Agra !

Nothing to say here! Just the check in took a little more time than expected but rest everything was in order and professionally managed

We absolutely loved the room! It was exceptional—so clean and exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The bed was super comfy and we also appreciated that water was included in the room, which was a nice touch. The hotel food was delicious, plus, having restaurants and McDonald's next door made it super easy to find safe food options. I can't recommend this place enough!

We went in Winter so the room was a little cold. However we asked reception for a heater and that helped massively!!

The room is modern and clean. The hotel is adjacent to a very little shopping center including a supermarket, McDonalds, etc. However, the hotel is not in the touristic area, approx. 15-20 min by car to Taj Mahal area, 2-3 nice restaurants nearby. Security staff at the entrance is very polite.

In the morning of the check-in day I contacted the hotel and let them know my time of arrival. Despite that, the hotel tried to call me multiple times within few minutes and then texted me in WhatsApp, that I should let them know my arrival time, if not they would cancel my reservation. What happens if someone is not available via phone, when they contact you? This made me feel very uncomfortable. I told reception, but my concerns were not taken seriously.

Room service staff Sagar was very attentive and polite

We were directed to upper lvl lobby to check in, with luggage left behind. Since front desk was not ready to assist, we decided to get our luggage from the ground floor. We were a bit upset to find it was still sitting there in open with no tags or attendent. Initial greetings by front desk staff was judgy, very unconscious bias, tried to ignore us at first. Had the same vibe from another staff when checking out. One of the bedsheets smelled of sweat, had to request replacement. None of this was acceptable and not to Marriot standards.

The most amazing hotel! The staff are very welcoming and nice, they help you with everything they can. Thanks specially to Monika, Aman, Dheerendra, Abhimanyu for making our stay so confortable and easy going, they were quick to answer all our questions and queries beforehand, and arranged any special needs we asked for. A very very special thanks to MR. ZEESHAN, from the travel agency. He arranged absolutely everything for us during our stay in Agra. He was so nice and polite, adapting to our needs, covering all our petitions and helping us with everything we needed. He arranged the best tour guides for Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. He did not feel harrassed or cheated on once, he organized only what we asked for, was never pushy and have us his honest and sincere advice. The facilites of the hotel were clean, confortable and very well conserved. Beds were cozy and the bathroom was clean and with hot water. We also used the gym facilites, which was a nice option to have available. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of foods from both western and Indian cuisine. Location was very convenient next to a shopping mall, and we felt safe at all times. It was a confortable and calm oasis in the middle of the caos of India. 100% recommendable.

Honestly nothing was bad. Maybe the bathroom was not exceptionally clean and the heating system was complicated to use, but it wasnt a big issue

By far the best hotel we’ve stayed in. We’re an English couple who have been travelling since 1st March 2023, we’ve toured all of South East Asia and Nepal, accumulating 91 different hotels etc. our stay here at the Fairfield by Marriott has been exceptional, the rooms are pristine and clean and very comfortable. we chose half board, as we wanted to try something different, the chef’s skills surpass them, the food is high quality and in such variety, delicious 😋 nothing is to much trouble for them. I feel I need to mention the staff here that has really gone above and beyond their normal duties, Deepak, Suman, Sweta,Prity, Alok and of course the Chef Yobendra thank you so much. It’s definitely a memorable stay thanks to all the staff here. Really professional at what they do. The hotels Location is perfect, for all the attractions in Agra, there’s a small shopping outlets nearby, you can even get a view of the Taj Mahal from your room. The whole ambiance of our stay was wonderful and we would definitely recommend this hotel. And to think they’ve only been open for three months. 5 stars

I really enjoyed this hotel. It was beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and had delicious food. The staff was very friendly and they organized us a wonderful tour.

Unfortunately, due to the fogginess the Taj Mahal was not visible from our room with a view of the Taj Mahal. So, I'd recommend to check weather conditions before booking rooms with a view of the Taj Mahal. Also sometimes the power would cut off for a few seconds then come back on. I am not sure why maybe they were doing maintenance while I was there.
