Honestly for a motel, it was beyond great. I’ve stayed at plenty of *hotels* that have not been as good/clean/well serviced as this motel. Would definitely stay again if passing through. Specifically: - Room has been renovated somewhat recently so it is modernly furnished, laid out well and spacious - It was very clean!! - Free water bottles provided, tea/coffee/biscuits/toiletries, microwave, toaster, kettle decently large fridge in the room - Room service breakfast was very reasonably priced and cooked super fresh and cooked well (you drop your order form in the night before and can choose what time you want breakfast) - owners are lovely and friendly - Free parking on site in front of your room - Location is great, about a 10-15 minute walk to main cbd area or few mins drive

The only negative, which is honestly to be expected at most motels, is that you don’t have the best soundproofing so can hear the neighbouring rooms getting in their car and leaving in the mornings/nights — the motel does provide ear plugs to help remedy this too.

The owner was so lovely. I had sent an email to ask if they beable to sprinkle rose petals onto the bed for me as it's Hubby's and my 28th Wedding Anniversary, and I surprised him with a little getaway. We get to the motel, i pick our room key up and got hubby to open the door and there was such a beautiful shape heart done with Rose petals on the bed and some on the floor and a couple of red balloons blown up to. The owner even brought us a bottle of Moscato. It was so beautiful '

Can get noisy with the car parks being directly in front of the doors but ultimately when you have the TV going/ shower or sleeping it's basically not noticeable or a bother. Still a wonderful stay. 10/10.

very friendly staff when above and beyond to help with any problems the room was quite large and and the bed very comfortable breakfast is a separate charge and delivered to your room with a friendly smile and good morning and you can get your room cleaned every day if you wish

no ice trays in the fridge the shower has low water pressure the pillows were a little soft needs blackout blinds instead of plantation shutters to make it more dark

Undercover car parking. Having a chat with Tina, (staff). Getting our room serviced everyday. This motel offers cooked breakfast and delivers to your room. We were very comfortable with our stay at this motel. We would return to this accommodation again. Thank you Chalet Motor Inn for a lovely stay.

We stayed with our dog and had an amazing experience! The room was so clean, a small but comfortable space. We had everything we needed supplied. The breakfast we ordered was good value and delicious. The owner was very friendly and nothing was a problem. Our dog is epileptic and unfortunately had a seizure the first night of our weekend stay and the owner didn't hesitate to provide us with extra towels and cleaning equipment to clean up after him. I offered to pay but he declined. The location is close to a park and restaurants within walking distance. We didn't use the pool as it was cold but it looked clean and inviting. The TV was huge and had a good selection of movie channels. The beds are big and comfortable, nice crisp clean linen, fluffy towels and soft pillows.

Trivial, but no full length mirror. There is however a huge mirror over the bench area.

Location was excellent and the host was pleasant and affable. The water pressure in the shower was incredible and a nice touch was foxtel on the TV for free!

Parking was tight, and the rooms being so close together meant noise travelled...and cigarette smoke permeated the air throughout our stay

Great location, short walk to multiple fantastic food options, private pool area, single level easy access with parking outside of room. Smoking permitted outside of room. Great showers for tall people. Clean, modern & casual. Fantastic staff and even pet friendly, what more could you ask for. Will definitely stay here again.

The bed and pillows were so comfortable! Close to restaurants of all sorts. Room had wifi and streaming capabilities. Most of all unlike another hotel in Bundaberg, A toaster I didn’t have to sign a waiver for. It’s the small things! Will definitely be back!

It was a bit of a challenge to park in the carport This was probably due to late night driving and arriving in the dark. Perhaps more lighting could improve this issue
