I have to admit, I was a bit scared by the position and the vintage looking rooms; instead, our stay at Hotel Ibaigune was actually amazing! Rooms were spacious and our beds were really comfortable. We got some nice advice from the guy at the reception on where to have dinner and also had an amazing continental breakfast in the morning, with both savory and sweet treats and lots of fruit and beverages! We really enjoyed our stay, and also had the time of our life having a little get together on their outside tables and chairs (we were a big group, hope we didn't bother anybody)... thank you very much for your ospitality!

It was a comfortable short stay at the hotel! We had a room with a view to the mountain and a big terrace that we could enjoy. We had everything we needed in the room and overall was tidy and clean. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and the access system simple and clear. Also the parking spaces were taken care of and spacious, and we could park without problems.

You can tell that the hotel is a bit old, specially in the bathrooms, but this was not a problem as all the services (bathroom, windows, doors, internet) functioned perfectly. As it is placed on the road, it can be a bit loud for some people. For us it was more than fine to sleep as it is not very transited and there is nothing else loud around.

The beds were very confortable and the shoer, strong and at the correct temperature. The wifi was OK and the room was tidy clean. The young man that was at the desk when we arrived was very nice and extremely helpful! Thank you very much!

The only thing I've needed (but knew in advance I won't get because they wrote me) was an option to freeze water... ( the whole hotel doesn't have a freezer!)

Not far from a train station coming from Bilbao. Central to explore the bay. Good breakfast. Comfortable room.

Located along a big road, in a village without any charm. Practical if you don't have a car. There was a mistake made by the hotel around our reservation (the bed type) but luckily the staff managed to put us in another room.

Breakfast was good and fresh, fantastic coffee. The location was fantastic to see Gernika, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and many other places of interest 🥰

The television was not working but we didn’t really need it. We can’t really complain about anything. 😊

A busy road is near the hotel - when you open window you hear the cars. But this is not a big deal, as you will spend most of your time visiting lovely surraundings!

Our kind host was excellent. She was most helpful and ensured that we had a very pleasant stay. Her telephone call in advance of our arrival was much appreciated.

Big, cosy rooms, the hotel has a nice authentic ambience.

The hotel and the rooms seem quite old, the bathrooms needs renovation. The walls are thin so you can hear the neighbours.

We needed a last minute lodging and it was available, comfortable and close to a train!

Just couldn't get in until 6 pm which seems a little late but not a huge problem
