The entire site was clean, luxurious and is designed in a way that means it always feels quiet and peaceful even when at capacity. In the Royal level pool, the drinks and poolside service were fantastic and loungers/beds comfortable.

The entertainment in the evening wasn’t great, didn’t particularly capture my attention and was very stereotypical of any family resort in spent, that’s not necessarily bad but didn’t match the luxury ‘sell’ of the hotel. The food was a bit hit and miss and ended up just paying for evening meals in the restaurants which were much nicer. It would be even better if the royal level pool did snacks, felt like an effort as it’s such a huge hotel site to get dress and walk across to somewhere where there is food in the day. The hotel beds weren’t particularly comfortable.

Nothing major just a preference with young children (2 and 4) - For us traveling with young children the only downside was the ability to get food between 3-7pm there was a pool snack ‘grab and go’ bar but if it was gone it’s gone and often the kids wanted a snack after swimming 5-6pm and there was no option but to wait till the restaurant opened at 7pm. We had royal level which was great but again no kid options for a snack other than fruit sticks which they loved but often ran out quickly. over all very happy and would highly recommend.

The hotel food was exceptional, it is definitely worth upgrading to the Royal Level as their restaurant is much quieter and you are served food to your table if preferred. The pool is also a lot quieter and right at the front of the hotel overlooking the sea.

The Royal Level is quite a bit more expensive so it was annoying to see several people without Royal Level wrist bands taking their kids (often noisy!) to swim in the RL pool as it was heated quieter and shallower. New Years Eve was a bit of a disappointment, the food was fantastic but the entertainment was pretty much the same as any other night apart from a disco. Having stayed at the Bahai Fantasia the NYE last year it doesn’t compare!

Great choice of food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, friendly efficient service. We had a Royal Level booking so all the food and drinks were included even the top shelf brands. The exclusive Royal Level swimming pool was a haven of peace & tranquility, with a great selection of freely available Cocktails.The evening entertainment was varied and professional.

Main problem was there were insufficient toilet facilities throughout the resort, given the number of guests being catered for.'There were several occasions where queues for the loos caused me to panic

Absolutely outstanding food and service in the royal level restaurant and royal level pool area. All royal level areas were very pleasant, comfortable and relaxing. Royal level reception were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

After a room clean, only 1 towel was left in my room. I had to call reception 3 times to ask for a 2nd towel and this wasn’t delivered to my room until 6 hours after the first call. My balcony door was left unlocked after a room clean which was concerning as my luggage was left temporarily unsecured. Drinks glasses often weren’t cleared away from the day before, so the royal level pool would open and dirty drinks glasses were left from the day before.

We loved the overall appearance of the hotel and its little luxury touches that make it that extra special. We stayed at the Royal Level and found the food exceptional as the Royal level buffet and ala carte menu. We went to the Drogo buffet one night, this was standard but still nice. There was always space to sunbathe in the mornings and lovely waitors to always grant you a speedy drink. And the b lounge in the evening is a nice alternative to the live entertainment in the evenings. Our room was lovely, with a coffee machine, complimentary welcome bar and cava on arrival. It was my birthday while we were there so were delivered a birthday cake and a bottle of cava during our stay, which was a surprise. We went for a walk around the coast for something to do, and there are lots of options if you wanted to do tours/ experiences.

We couldn't fault really! Our room took a little longer than expected but we had plenty to do around the hotel to keep us occupied.

The facilities were second to none. We stayed in the Royal Level and it was worth it if you want a quieter holiday with adults/older children. Also, the restaurants were quieter in Royal. The food was fairly similar in both, being excellent and fresh with a good choice. The Royal restaurants had more table service for drinks and felt more like a proper restaurant than buffet. The staff were excellent; very friendly, efficient and professional. The management were very good at dealing with issues and sorted them without hesitation and then kept checking in to see everything was ok with our stay. The pool areas were very comfortable; the Royal level area has cabanas and day beds and nicer loungers than other parts but the infinity pool in the main part was beautiful.

Really can’t fault it.

Awesome hotel, shame I only got to stay 1 night. All the staff were very friendly. Special thanks to Francesca in the lobby who happily invited me to stay long in the hotel since my flight was later In the evening. She even gave me a free lunch voucher which was very helpful. I hope to stay there again for longer next time

I was told the pool was heated but It didn't feel like that to me.

Well we had an exceptional time in the Royal Level. From the moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome at reception. Charleen and Diago (the Guest experience Managers) went way and above their requirements to ensure we had a lovely stay. I have travelled the world and stayed in many 5 star hotels but this has been, by far, my best experience in terms of the warmth, friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Even the restaurant staff in Royal Level, in particular Ray and Nayade, were so attentive and eager to ensure our needs were met. Making us feel almost part of their Barcelo family. Plus, Deivis at the pool side who was so thoughtful and attentive, bringing little treats and drinks throughout our days sunbathing! I truly cannot compliment the hotel enough. Whilst they had just reopened only a week before, everything worked well and the staff are a true asset to the company of the Barcelo group. It is rare to see so many smiling staff members who so clearly love what they do, and this creates an enjoyable and relaxing environment for all to be in. After moving from a previous hotel early (after poor quality of food and unfriendly staff), we were so touched by the generosity and warmth shown by all the staff we encountered from our first step into the hotel to our departure. Even the chefs in the Royal Level restaurant were engaging and catered to our dietary requirements without batting an eyelid, and produced exceptional, fresh and flavoursome dishes at both dinner and breakfast. (David’s coffees are a must have too!) If I had to mention anything it would be I hope they get round to putting air conditioning and water into the gym, and upgrading the equipment. I look forward to coming back again in October and meet these wonderful people yet again. Highly recommend if you want a warm, happy and engaging place to stay.

It’s hard to say as liked it all but it would be nice if gym was updated and the metal fencing updated around Royal Level for more privacy.
