Hotel Review: A Stunning Oasis in Vientiane We stayed at this hotel for two days upon our arrival in Vientiane, and it was truly amazing—highly recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. First of all, we chose the airport pickup service, and it exceeded our expectations. Not only was the driver there to greet us, but a staff member from the reception was also present. They welcomed us with a traditional local treat and refreshing cold water. Despite the short drive, the staff member gave us an insightful introduction to the city, making the ride both enjoyable and informative. It was such a warm and thoughtful welcome that made us feel instantly at home. At the reception, the team was incredibly kind and accommodating. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and even though we arrived early, our room was already ready. The property itself is absolutely stunning—an oasis of peace and greenery right in the heart of the city. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located. It was the ideal place to relax after exploring Vientiane. The breakfast was excellent, with great attention to detail and delicious options. We also dined at the hotel one evening, and the food was fantastic. The service was attentive and professional, ensuring a wonderful dining experience. Overall, we had an amazing stay. The combination of exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and a serene atmosphere made it unforgettable. We highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vientiane!

The room, Lobby, restaurant, swimming pool area, the grounds were all clean, tidy, and beautiful, apleasure to be in. Calming and peaceful. Employees are exceptionally friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to assist with all of your needs whether it pertains to Hotel facilities or services or arranging various tourist excursions and taxis, etc. Quality of food & drinks in restaurant is excellent. Breakfast buffet has numerous items something for absolutely everyone's taste. Breakfast has a buffet, as well as, A la carte items which are included with the buffet. Swimming pool area is beautiful. Lots of loungers and fresh towels. Very quiet. Staff assisted me with finding a guide. Arranging cultural and historical tours. Arranging cooking classes and riverboat rides. Anything you desire, they make it happen. Green Park is a green Oasis Located in the core of the city, a very short drive to any attraction you might want to visit. I have become very spoiled after staying at this place! I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic stay at Green Park Hotel, we would highly recommend. The staff went above and beyond when we arrived (and in general) very early following a night on the sleeper train, helping us with baggage etc. The whole complex is beautiful, like an oasis in the centre of Vientiane, with amazing gardens and pool to enjoy. The room was comfortable and very spacious with a balcony. We also enjoyed a local dinner, which we would highly recommend if you are yet to try the local food, and breakfast was also great with a vast array you could order as well as a buffet style. We felt truly spoilt and wish we could have stayed longer!

The location was great. We walked to all main attractions that we wanted to see or you could tuk-tuk in 5 minutes or so We had a very friendly welcome and all of the staff were very friendly. Mong was absolutely brilliant in advising us and dealing with our requests. The mango and passion-fruit smoothie was amazing The breakfast was superb. Best we’ve had in the last year anywhere. You can pick a ‘main’ and then help yourself to the fruit, savoury and pastry buffet. The bed was very comfortable and there was always space around the pool.

A shower in the bath. Pet hate. You have to chase the sun around the pool.

From the moment we arrived we were treated fantastically. The resort itself is very beautiful with nice lights at night. They upgraded us to a suite which was huge and very nice. Everything about the room was great and very peaceful. The pool area was lovely to spend the afternoon at. The breakfast was the best included breakfast we have seen with the ability to order a la carte and speciality iced or hot coffees all included. The staff could not have been more helpful and nice. Just a perfect stay!

The only thing is if you have the hotel book the taxi to the airport, it is about double the cost of an independent taxi, but in the end you are talking about $10-$12 or so difference, so not a big deal.

Loved the location in a garden setting, just beyond the busy, loud centre. A couple of minutes walk to a new shopping mall, for everything we needed as new arrivals - ATMs, ticket office for the train, telcom office to get a local SIM card and casual dining. We also loved the generous and varied breakfast, and the beautiful dining area. Tasteful decor throughout. Very helpful staff.

The only very minor thing was the sound conducting through the concrete walls - we could hear a bit from the neighbours. Likely related to the construction style, so nothing to be done. It didn't really bother us. Great café just outside the front door - coffee and delish pastries.

The hotel is in a great location, with beautiful rooms and grounds. The restaurant was so lovely with delicious food, especially the breakfast options and great coffee! The staff were amazing, very helpful for anything we needed included organising drivers and taxis, and anything we needed for the room etc. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything, but it would be great if there were a few more pool lounges in the sun, they were hard to get when people camped out there all day!

It is not close to downtown and they do not provide a shuttle, which actually was specified in the booking.com description

The moment you get picked up at the airport you feel welcomed. Then walking up the path to the reception is like a breath of fresh air. The workers are sweet and caring but not in your business. The food is wonderful. Breakfast, appetizers, dinners-meals are well prepared and tasty. The ladies are sweet and pleasant in the restaurant. The property and pool are well maintained. While staying at this property there was flooding everywhere in the city, along the river, and even areas such as Buddha Park. Even the Malls within a few minute walk were sandbagged to protect against the flooding. Our hotel took care of us and other guests as though outside upheavals didn't affect us. They set up train trips and taxis for us. We were so happy. We stayed another 4 days. Highly recommend.
