Very happy with everything

Because it was very hot, we had breakfast outside, this place was also reserved for smokers. Smokers should have a place reserved for them somewhere else or smoking should be prohibited during breakfast. The wooden paneling at of the building upon arrival made it look like I had mistaken my place of residence. Other wise, realy, everything was perfect !!!

- spa cost additionally 7 eur per person per 2 hour - not a big deal but could have been included in the room price (even at the cost of slight higher room Price) - checkout could be at least at 11 (or even 10:30 so there’s time between breakfast ends and checkout) - again it’s not a big deal

Amazing hotel. The property has safe private parking , restaurant, exceptional spa & professional massage. The location is very close to Zilina. The reception staff as well as any other staff members we have talked, were extremely helpful and speak english very well. There are art pieces from medieval times at the hotel, makes the stay even more enjoyable.

Cozy chateau with history and beautiful aesthetics. Friendly staff, free parking available. The rooms are spacious, equipped with everything you need, including high-quality shower gel and shampoo. Good breakfast (included). Excellent spa area (you need to book in advance, 2 hours - 7 euros per person).

There is no air conditioning, it was very hot in the room. The spa area has become paid for hotel guests (before it was free). In the spa, the saunas are very dark, neither the temperature nor the time on the hourglass can be seen. It was very hot in the restaurant in the area where breakfast and dinner were not air-conditioned, while in the room where the staff was, the air conditioners were working.

The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The grounds of the property are very well kept and very clean. The hotel itself is beautiful.

1. No air conditioning in the hotel room which made for a very warm and sweaty stay. 2. Our check in experience was strange. We were just handed the keys and weren’t explained where everything on property is (restaurant, spa, breakfast, etc). Front desk person wasn’t very friendly. 3. The property’s outdoor area is vast yet no area for children to play. 4. In our double room, no stand-alone shower. Just a bathtub with a handheld sprayer which got the bathroom soaked when trying to shower ourselves.

Nice architecture with blend of antique and modern. Very good wellness and very nice staff.

Our room was located just above the restaurant terrace. It was loud during the evenings and there is smoking allowed as well. I recommend specificaly ask not to get room at this part of property.

Good dinner and breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good pool but the sauna costs extra...

We were in an unairconditioned room. If you want a/c you need to have a more expensive room.....in other words if you use a booking service you probably won't have a/c. We were in an attic room with a small window. Luckily it wasn't a very hot day and there was enough breeze for the room to be comfortable. Just a warning, if you will be there in the summer you need to be aware of this.

Generally it is good hotel to relax in quiet places and we enjoyed this.

Unfortunately lobby bar was only open until 9:00 p.m. Nothing to do there because also hotel restaurant opening hours were same.

It’s well designed, very elegant. The rooms are big.

Shower too small. Far away from many touristic places. Unkind staff. Small windows at the room. You have to sign up for every activity in the wellness center or in the entertainment center and you have to extra pay for every activity but the pool
