This hotel is a gem. Very well located, with river views and a promenade where you can enjoy the views both of the Rhine and the city. The hotel is impeccable, and the service is very friendly and professional. The room was spotless and had all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The breakfast offer was varied and very complete and with the views from the restaurant the experience is unrivalled. It is definitely a place to return to. As for location, the hotel is between the center of Düsseldorf and the airport, which makes it ideal for all types of stays.

Loved everything about our stay here. Room was great and the bathroom was top class. Lovely touch having free soft drinks each day in the minibar and little packs of sweets too. The location was excellent too for the lovely park, the aquarium and the main reason we were there....a concert at the Merkur Spiel Arena. Staff were also very helpful and friendly. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The view of the rooms, restaurant and terrace is amazing! The bathroom was very good sized. Overall room was small but good for short stay. To hangout at night in the terrace was perfect

The breakfast could be better, very few options. We couldnt breath while sleeping, the room overlooks the walking path so we didnt prefer keeping the window open. Without it there was no air.

-Our room was big enough for us, very clean and well organised. -The staff were super friendly and smiling -Our wishes were always fulfilled -Every time we came back in the evening, there was some candy, or chocolates on our beds. 🥰 -The hotel and it's surroundings were breath-taking -We loved everything in this hotel. We would come back again and again. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is visiting Düsseldorf

Wonderful location, superb food and lovely staff. We were allocated room number 1, which overlooks the Rhine and provided the perfect place for our most recent visit to Düsseldorf.

We always stay at the Schnellenburg when we visit Düsseldorf and will continue to do so. Some parts have been renovated over the last year, but others could perhaps do with some refurbishment to keep the status that this hotel truly deserves.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the stuff were very friendly, the breakfast was very good. Beautiful view and location. The room had a nice carpet, extra cover, and a heater. I really like that the mini bar in the room was free.

A nice big room, clean, hot shower. Restaurant and terrace right next to the Rhine, very nice location. Friendly staff, good food.

Clean, quiet, warm, thick walls, high ceiling, very kind and friendly staff, cooks perfect, offers free drinks (a bottle of water restocked everyday), nice view of Rhein, next to a huge park and quiet stylish residential street which are ideal for strolling

We checked in and without asking they gave us the very best room in the hotel. We could have fished in the Rhine from our windows. Staff were wonderful. I sat in our window ledge for a long time just watching the sunset and the many different boats

The hotel was well located for the airport and directly opposite the main entrance to the Messe. It also had a very nice view from the dining room of the Rhine. The restaurant also did good food - steaks seemed to be a speciality.

The rooms felt a little utilitarian but were actually perfectly adequate and quite comfortable. As far as I could tell there was no free wifi except in the main reception areas. Not a big issue for us but could be for some.
