Besides the perfect central location, they have very good personal attention. Their front desk is an example to follow for others. I had a late ferry and they allowed me to "camp" for a few hours in the reception/cafeteria. The bathrooms are squeaky clean. In one of the times I stayed here they rescued my wallet that I had forgotten in the room and called me on time before I took the ferry. That was really a savior!

The steep stairs on the road to the hotel, if you have heavy luggage you need to be patient and take it literally one step at a time. But that is also true for almost all places in Poros because the town is basically built on the side of a hill. Additionally it would be good if the reception had air condiitioning during the high noon hours. They turn it on in the morning but I guess they switch it off later because they like to keep the windows open. Luckily ther is always a bit of wind and that helps.

Location perfect,right across from ferry dock with 180 degree view from balcony.If you like to watch yachts mooring right in front of you, will love it.On main waterfront road lined with restaurants,bars,shops.But fairly quiet. Room was deluxe,king bed,big for Greece bathroom,good shower and its own balcony!Big furnished roof deck with sea view. Front desk very efficient and friendly.We had some problems and they were quickly fixed.Our cleaning lady came every day and did a terrific job.Stay so nice we stayed an extra day.

The room was a good size and had everything you need for a short stay on the island. It was clean, the staff were polite, the location was right next to where the boat arrives - great base for your time on Poros.

It was a bit noisy with the bar below the hotel playing loud music until the early hours, but that can't be helped if they are separately run businesses.

Directly at the port, only 1 minute walk from ferry. We had room with balcony, which was awesome as you can sit and watch all the yachts coming in :-) You have the opportunity to take your breakfast from downstairs on a tray up to the room and have it on your balcony, we loved this. Very nice rooftop bar (not serviced, but you can sit and enjoy the view) Would definitely return.

Beautiful view, right in the center of Poros, staff was excellent and helpful. Cleaning staff excellent, room was cleaned everyday, use of beach in Askeli was an added bonus. We will be back again.

Bathrooms are a bit small, but manageable, not really that much of an issue.

Great location, easy to book/checkin&out, find food, ferry to, had a lift in the ceiling to get luggage up the stairs. Nice roof top patio. Quick access to walk to clock tower. Beds firm but not too much. Air conditioning

I had no issues but older family members have troubles with the steps but I suspect that is not unique to this hotel.

Lovely hotel in a great location, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Our room had a great view of the harbour & was clean and comfortable, will definitely like to return

Fantastic location. Super clean. Such comfy bed. Beautiful balcony with sea views and really nice employees. Love that the management chose to keep honest pricing and not inflate ridiculously like other places. Proving they care for the long haul not just quick cash.

That I didn’t stay long enough

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manessi. The staff was very friendly and the Hotel was perfect for our two nights in Poros. It's an extremely short walk from the port, which made finding the hotel very easy after arriving via ferry. The location also makes it quite easy to hop on a cheap (2euros/person) and convenient water taxi from the port to one of the handful of beaches around the island. The hotel had a schedule showing when the water taxis depart and arrive at each location. We had a view of the port from our balcony, and the hotel also had a lovely rooftop area where we could see the clocktower on one side and the water/port on the other, which made for a great spot to hangout and watch the sunset.
