The location is great and you can tell it has undergone some refurbishment recently. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was very nice. Bed was comfortable, and there is plentiful parking.

The draft beer wasn't cold! An issue the hotel is aware of and is waiting on an engineer, but I got the impression this has been going on a while. I mentioned it at the bar and to two receptionists. I think bar staff should tell customers before the pint is poured so they can choose bottled instead. Not pleasant on a warm day to have lager that isn't the right temperature. Hence why I couldn't give this property more than an 8/10. We stayed in a ground floor room that has floor length curtains that cover the radiator under the window. Also, there are no nets or window film which meant in the morning, anyone in the rear car park could see into your room.

Me and my wife stayed at the hotel and it was absolutely perfect. It definitely exceeded our expectation. Location was perfect and the room was super clean. Service was excellent and the stuff was really friendly and helpful, especially the lady that was at the breakfast buffet going above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. We already decided that’s one of our favourite hotels ever and we will definitely be back.

Very clean and tidy place to stay. Room was spacious and looks like recently refurbished as everything was in good condition and well maintained. Extremely good value for money and it was very conveniently loaves to visit a family member. Highly recommended place to stay over.

Close to town which is 10 min drive away, fantastic views and the staff especially the manager was so accommodating and welcoming he made our stay amazing. We had the best new year staying at the stones hotel! A big thank you to the manager and his lovely wife for a brilliant night one we won’t forget in a hurry!

Very clean and comfortable twin beds room overlooking the countryside with a lovely modern bathroom. The staff, especially Phoebe at reception were absolutely lovely and helpful. Could not fault this hotel for value, location, excellent service and cleanliness. Highly recommended.

The staff were extremely helpful towards us as we had trouble with a hire car. Adelina I think that was her name, she was the manager there. She went over and above to try to help us and we are extremely grateful.

Check in was a bit difficult as the booking was for two rooms and the receptionist could only find one on her system. It all worked out in the end
