Beautiful location, stylish and spotless cabins, lovely spot to have a glass of wine (bring your own, they don't have any, though they have corkscrews and glasses) and watch the sun set over the Pacific. Extremely comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again!

The ADA accessible room could have a few more thoughtful touches to make things easier for someone with limited mobility, like a surge protector/cord extender to charge devices by the bed without having to mess around with the low plug near the floor. Heating was a bit uneven in the room, it was extremely cold in the bathroom, a light bulb was burned out, and the soap dispenser was full but didn't work.

The location was a 15-20 minute drive from Ft. Brag. There were several Continental breakfast options. Overall room was clean. Queen bed was comfortable with fresh linens. Towels were fresh and looked new(versus really old and dingy colored). Toilet was sparkling clean and floors were clean. The deck was comfortable and did have a view of the ocean. The setting for the motel was very quiet and peaceful with deer wandering on the grassy open area in the front of the property.

The heater thermostat seemed broken. Once we turned on the heater we had to manually shut it off when the room was warm enough. No automatic heater shut off. There seemed to be some leaking shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower bath combo. There were two small plastic bottles left in the bath/shower perhaps from a previous room occupant. The latch didn't work on the sliding patio door and there was a wood stick there to secure the door to prevent opening. The couch in the room was really low profile. The toilet paper holder was in an awkward place, such that a child would not be able to reach it without getting off the toilet.

The room! Everything that is wonderful about an efficiency, plus it was decorated with just enough but not too much. It was extremely clean, as well. The new managers are midwesterners like us and conversation flowed effortlessly. They were more than accommodating and always at the ready. Even offered us soup as we were so hungry and it was very late. We did end up at the town mart just before it closed, which was such a fantastic market! Breakfast was wonderful, many options. Had a lovely discussion with another couple who visit Seafoam every year.

Nothing I can think of.

Only a few minutes on highway 1 to Mendocino, so great to be in an open space which is close to town with a large lawn area for kids to play and 1 minute to a beach with ample parking at the entrance to Van Damme park. The park is excellent for walking/hiking/day camping. Rooms had nice layout and clean, staff was pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable clean with big balcony with views to the ocean.

Internet login was without password protection, which is not usually the case in hotels. However did not have much choice but to use as my carrier T-mobile has no cell phone or internet connection in the immediate area. The EV chargers had signs "out of order" or something to that effect. There were at least four chargers with generous parking space and just 50 feet from the rooms. Didn't ask why not functioning, but if they were, this would be a great draw for guests driving EVs.

The spectacular views of the ocean from every room, the peaceful atmosphere, the spacious rooms and (for us) the pet friendly options were the key features. Added bonuses were the simple but VERY adequate breakfast and the very helpful and friendly managers.

If I had to find one thing it would be the water pressure for the shower. It was a bit low, but given the nature of the area (drought issues) It really was just fine! There was plenty of hot water which is more important - and it was a nice spacious shower/bathroom!

The location was beautiful and very well kept, the rooms were equally beautiful and super spacious plus the beds were super comfy. I loved sitting on the patio looking over the gorgeous ocean view in the morning with my coffee. I could've stayed out there all day! But the real bonus was the wonderful couple who run the place they were so sweet and welcoming to each and every guest. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

No complaints it was above and beyond

The deck and view were wonderful. The light breakfast was ample with lots of choices and good coffee. Staff were universally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Small refrigerator and microwave were available. The chairs and table on the deck made a nice setting for watching the sunset with a glass of wine. A very refreshing visit and place to escape from the 100+ temperatures at home.

It is difficult to find something we didn't like. The access road is one lane with no apparent turnouts to pass on coming traffic. That was a bit worrisome. Fortunately, it was not an issue during our visit.

The location is hard to beat. A little ways up a hill to get a nice view of the ocean above the treetops. We enjoyed eating dinner with the table and chairs for use on the private deck.

One outlet did not work and though the koi pond was beautiful, at night, a cacophony of frogs serenaded us awake for hours. But that could be nice for some people. I also believe the TV area could have used a floor lamp as there were only two lights in the whole room.

The Seafoam Lodge is located on a peaceful property that overlooks the ocean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They even included a complementary breakfast in the morning. This is a great option if you like to bring your pet as well.

Although there were chairs to sit on, it would have been nice if there was a small love seat instead. The walls were also thin so we could hear our neighbors walk around in the morning, dogs barking and kids crying.

The hosts were amazing. They were kind and lovely. They provided a pet package with a little toy and treats to keep, as well as a blanket and bowl for the visit. They make you and your best friend welcome. The place is gorgeous, up on a hill, and every room can see the sea. Each room has a little patio so you can watch the sunrise. They offer many room amenities, such as a microwave and small fridge. They have a typical continental breakfast, but the coffee in the room and reception is real coffee— good and strong! The beds were comfortable and the mattresses and bedding were great. The location is really perfect for the coast, a short drive to Mendocino, Fort Bragg as well as Elk and Albion, a tiny bit further to Point Area (which has great fish and chips down by the dock.) tons of beaches, as well as a small hidden one— just ask the owners. Almost perfect!

The heater kept going on and off and was loud. It woke me up multiple times in the night. If you are a light sleeper, you won’t be able to sleep. I wasn’t. Which is a shame, as it really was almost perfect and a terrific price. Bring earplugs! The internet and TV can be wonky, but honestly, most of the drive we didn’t have any cell reception so I don’t blame them.
