I stayed a few weeks previously and was so impressed I returned. This time I did not choose balcony as I do not need a balcony room. The room was as good as before and so clean and comfortable. Also, the range of TV channels is great which is not common in Hungarian hotels even the five star ones. Good priced coffee at the bar - 800 HUF for quality espresso. Nice staff and great location.

Nothing really except the check out time is early 10.00- but last time they were happy to allow me later check out so if I needed it, I could have asked but I had a train to take. I did not take breakfast but the breakfast room looked so crowded in the morning so I would not want to have this option.

Overall good quality for money, checking all of our boxes for a one night stay in transit (the hotel is right in the historic center, very good location for people visiting Szeged, but also easy to reach from/to the highway, so good for us too). We liked the room sizes, dinner and particularly breakfast was excelent (great teas, eggs, even a honeycomb). Staff was very helpful and accepted later orders for dinner, as we arrived around the time the kitchen was closing, so thanks. Underground paid safe parking was important for us, they say it is not guaranteed but we didn't have any problem.

Not a negative issue, more of a feeling we had, the fact that when we arrived in the evening the restaurant was empty. Probably due in part to the hour, and maybe some people dine out. But in the end the food was good and we were famished, so all good.

First time staying here and I was tired after trip to Serbia and I had a perfect stay. The room was so quiet and spacious. Absolutely spotlessly clean and decent bathroom with a nice colour scheme and cosy lighting. It was upgrade so had balcony which I did not use but added to the feel of space. Even the coffee cups were nice design and for first time outside Italy, I had three Rai TV channels which is so unusual. It was so warm and comfortable. Loved my stay.

Only a couple of small items like little bottles of shower gel like the Radisson. Also would love an espresso machine as I do not take breakfast.

My wife and I stayed in the finest room we've ever been in and at a VERY reasonable cost. The suite included a huge living room, separate large bedroom, and a very large shower/bathroom. Everything was impeccably decorated and very comfortable. Included with the room was a large exterior, rooftop deck with a private hot tub. It was AMAZING!

There was nothing the least unappealing about this hotel or the room we stayed in. It was just fantastic. If I could give it a higher rating I would do so happily.

Art Hotel Szeged offers a comfortable and pet-friendly stay, making it a great option for travelers with pets. The parking facility is convenient, though it can be a bit tight if you have a larger vehicle like an SUV. The room I stayed in had a terrace, which was perfect for our dog to enjoy some fresh air in a rainy night. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's prime location in the city center, surrounded by numerous restaurants and cafes, and the delicious breakfast, all contributed to a highly enjoyable stay.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the hotel is calm and silent.

Staff is not polite, does not smile or says good morning or hello to the guests. Even when there are no other guests and you come in into the hotel, they will keep quiet and not great you. Only after you say hello will they reply. They also never smile which can make a conversation awkward and unwelcoming. This is not ok for a 4 star hotel. Parking at 11 eur per night is also expensive when you stay longer. Breakfast is also not worth its price.

Check in at Art Hotel was great. The staff are friendly, speak English and are knowledgeable about the area. It's located in a really nice area of the city with good access to the central streets and stations. I walked from the train station and it was a really nice city walk. The rooms were immaculately clean and smelled great. The beds were comfy and the big windows let in loads of light. The bathroom was warm with a high pressure shower.

The hotel is situated at the 2 minutes walk from Cathedral and 1 minute walk to tram station (1 and 2). The reception is working 24/7. The room was spacious. There are two big closets. Big working desk. WiFi works excellent. The bathroom has everything that you need for your comfort. The hotel is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast was excellent. You have a huge choice of cheese, meat products, English breakfast, typical Hungarian breakfast food, ..., excellent start of the day!

Very clean. Very modern. Underground garage. Nice and well equiped room (we had Deluxe). Spacious room and bathroom. Good and diversified breakfast.

View is not the best as the hotel is in between buildings (we were facing the library building). On the 4th floor the terace is common with all the rooms and the retractable privacy separators were not yet fully installed (to be finalized) and there is no rain/sun protection over you on the terrace. TV did not have working channels (only a very non interesting few … asking for CI+ card)

Overall, this is a nice hotel, but they gave me a room for disabled people because that was the only standard room left. The room was mostly okay... but that bathroom just left me with a bad feeling. Booking.com should probably be notified when there are events in hotels, so that they can inform people who are looking for rooms, so that they can look elsewhere, so that things like this happen less often.
