This is a small older hotel a block off of the plaza. The grounds are full of tropical plants with a few small tables for meals which the hotel appears to offer. There is a second floor palapa which we used for reading. The rooms are small with older furniture. The owner and his wife went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and are extremely nice people. They recommended a great place for Breakfast nearby. We would stay there again.

It's a cute place close to downtown. They had cats which was a nice bonus! Didn't talk to the staff much, but when I did, they were friendly. Even though there was an event happening nearby, didn't find noise to be a problem. Nice and close for checking out some cute restaurants as well as the Art Walk.

The mattress is quite hard and the bed sounded like it would fall apart anytime I moved which made it hard to fall asleep. Found it a little hard to find the place at first, but in the end parked and walked around and found it.

All was very good. Hernan and his lovely wife are great owners and generous couple. Very good Americano coffee in-house. Authentic Mexican experience. Not a beachside resort, which is what we want to avoid. Good location very close to Cathedral and Town Square. Great dining, shopping and transportation options. Very walkable, very safe, very friendly locals. Bring your smile. :)

There is new construction next door and at corner of a busy street so bring ear plugs and possibly eye shades. The hotel cannot control traffic or construction hours. Price of progress. People with mobility issues will have a difficult time with ramps and stairs. We were ok with mobility.

The owners were very kind and helpful. We felt like we were staying with family. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. It is an excellent location for seeing the Old town of San Jose del Cabo and walking distance to beaches and lagoon. Thursday is Art Walk and we happened to arrive in the middle of it, literally, driving from the airport to our Hotel. It is a very fun and interesting event with all kinds of vendors, artists and musicians. A definite must see and is minutes from our hotel entrance. We travel with our dog so it is one of the few places that take dogs. We also had secure parking only a short walk from our hotel, which is a bonus given the location.

The only downside was the traffic noise but that was exacerbated with the Thursday Art Walk.

really nice place to stay and nice vibe. great location,right in the centre. owners are super lovely and happy to help with restaurant accommodations and what not. room was clean, comfy and big enough. would highly recommend.

only issue was on our last night the power kept turning off and on which was unhelpful as the aircon was needed. this wasn’t the problem of the hotels though,just the area. also,the Wi-Fi wasn’t that great. when it worked,it worked really well but throughout the day there were times that it just stopped working completely but soon enough came back on.

It was very clean place with super nice and very helpful staff. Location is excellent to explore downtown, very central. Kitchen was very convenient and grounds are nice green with places outside to read a book. Al the info about nearby attractions has been provided. The coffee was awesome. Staff is very friendly & speak fluent English. They called Uber for me and suggested to visit Palmilla beach - highly recommend. lWF is strong. It's safe and secure. Bed was comfortable. A good value for money

Unfortunately, the busy road nearby and if you a light sleeper bring earplugs.It is also a nearby construction noise during the work days. However you will probably be away at daytime anyway

This is a small hotel with a wonder bohemian/vintage Mexican vibe. The owners are very friendly, thoughtful and gracious. Provided very helpful recommendations for places to hike, eat and visit. Fabulous location near the estuary trail leading to the beach and next to the art galleries and central plaza. I appreciated all of the trees and garden and elevated walkways and outdoor places to relax and art

A wonderful artsy place right near the heart of San Jose del Cabo. A stone throw from restaurants, stores, cafes and art galleries. The host family is lovely and accommodated our arrival time and let us store our bags before and after our stay for a short time. Coffee in the morning was perfect. Thank you!

A little noisy during day time hours from the road!

Close to the square in old town San José. Quiet, easy to get to, very friendly and helpful folks running it. My speed- not fancy but clean and friendly, comfortable and accessible. I had great coffee and a smoothie for breakfast:) Great area to wander on foot, felt safe at night, close to an estuary that had good bird watching in the morning.

We absolutely loved the location we loved how cute it was we love Cynthia she was amazing it was right beside the plaza where all of the Amazing & Beautiful things were happening I would recommend this to anybody who would love would like to try some authentic San Jose culture absolutely loved it being here by the square. Where there was live music and lots of wonderful shops and restaurants at the square. Truly and Unforgettable experience that I will never forget
