Nice location within walking distance from Oia center. Nice sea view of Caldera. Generally good service and personnel tried to accommodate our early check in needs.

Loves this boutique hotel, location is spot on. If you have not been to Oia before (like us) then it is difficult to work out where to stay. This location is superb as you are about 5 mins walk from the pedestrianised part of Oia centre, this means that:- 1) you can get picked up and dropped off from airport and any trips very easily without needing to fight through any tourists. 2) being 5 mins walk means that you don’t have loads of tourists posing for pictures virtually in your room (like you do in the centre). 3) you are so close to everything but you still have a little peace from those getting buses in to visit Oia. 4) you can visit Oia centre early or later in the day when the crowds disperse and you have a more relaxed experience. The staff are great, we had x2 massages (excellent) and also ate at some restaurants that were recommended by the hotel, they were excellent (especially Mia next door for lunch with a view and also FINO… Fino was excellent for food and cocktails! Get the lobster spring rolls). Hot tub is as perfect temperature and the bed was comfy, really liked the room and how quiet it was being soundproofed. Also great Bluetooth speaker and nespresso in the room and small fridge with soft drinks and new safe. The views are breathtaking and we also did a catamaran sunset cruise that we booked through the hotel and this was also exceptional. So glad we chose Abyss out of all the options, really the location stands out compared to the others we looked at as when we saw these when exploring they were covered with tourists on the stairs and taking photos so had no real privacy. Recommend Domaine Sigalas winery for tasting and lunch (5 min taxi) and then all other sites were walking distances. 3 nights was perfect for us to explore Oia which is beautiful

Nothing, everything was fantastic

This is a very nice Boutique Hotel and everything is great, the pool the service the location the views - but there is just one serious flaw and that is the slippery bathroom area where water does get everywhere. I nearly slipped and I feel it can be dangerous especially for older guests. Some reviews have pointed this out also and I think it's an easy fix to place a rubber mat of some sort to fix the safety issue. Probably they want to preserve the interior look which is nice indeed but safety should be first.

The location was perfect. It was right outside of the main area of Oia so we didn’t have any of the city noise. The staff went above and beyond and was nothing but friendly the whole time. 10/10

Loved the minimal, black-and-white, marble, cave rooms. Walk-in shower. Walk-in closet. Great sea view of the entire caldera, visible from the bed. Pretty private and quiet. Cute plunge pool. Best location on the island, in Oia, accessible by car (no need to walk through the crowded alleys every time). Incredible concierge (especially Elena). They made transport, fine dining, and wine tasting reservations for us, even when we decided last minute. Took a lot of time and care to provide detailed recommendations and plan the entire weekend with us. Nice, cute indoor spa area with 3 jacuzzis and a pool.

My stay at Abyss Hotel in Santorini was unforgettable. Perched in Oia, the hotel's views of the caldera are stunning, especially during sunset. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the check-in was smooth. My room combined traditional Santorinian charm with modern luxury, featuring comfortable bedding, a rainfall shower, and a Nespresso machine. The private terrace was a perfect spot for morning coffee with breathtaking views. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring Oia’s charming streets filled with boutique shops and cafes. The concierge team was excellent, organizing a private cruise and a guided tour, making my stay even more special. In summary, Abyss Hotel is a luxurious escape with stunning views and exceptional service. Every moment here felt like a dream.

I really enjoyed the hotel, and although I can be quite picky, I have absolutely nothing to complain about here. The hotel staff were exceptional. I also highly recommend trying the massage — usually, hotel massages for tourists are pretty average, but in this case, I can only praise them. The hotel also organized a catamaran trip for me, and everything was handled at the highest level. Thank you to the hotel — I will definitely be coming back.

This room was so beautiful! High quality bedding, towels and robes & high quality finishes throughout the room. The staff were wonderful & the breakfast delivered to your suite every morning was a true luxury. Loved our little pool, and of course views to die for!

The only thing I can fault is the shower, being that it’s an open style bathroom, we had to use our towels to soak up the water so we didn’t slip over (which I almost did a few times lol). That being said, there’s a turndown service and the staff are great with cleaning and drying the floor after use most days.

I booked this for one night as a surprise for my boyfriend, and we both could not have been more happy with the stay. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome by the amazing Helena, and were even lucky enough to be upgraded (again - a huge thank you for this!). A particular highlight (although it is hard to single things out as everything was incredible) of the stay was the amazing view and pool, and the gorgeous breakfast brought to your room when you desire. We loved every single aspect of this stay and will definitely be back for longer in future.

Perfect location just at the edge of the pedestrian zone. Gorgeous views and beautiful room. The staff were welcoming, helpful and thoughtfully anticipated our needs, like late checkout due to late afternoon flight. We greatly appreciated gestures like welcome drinks and local pastry. Also not to forget the bottle of local wine from the owner. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends, and hope to return in the future.
