Great location and spacious room.

There was NO BREAKFAST! I specifically requested the Booking.com website show ONLY places who offered breakfast with the room. I even read reviews where people noted that the hotel had a great breakfast. You can imagine how disappointed I was that I thought we had paid more for a reservation that included breakfast only to find that the hotel had NONE. There is no reception or staff except from 9-5 or so. I called the number on the outside of the door to inquire and I was told that the Avantguardia Art Club did NOT offer breakfast.

I liked the staff very helpful on the mobil phone. The appartment was big, close to the center by walking. We received 2 bottles of water and 2 snacks.

The room had really poor view to the other house terase. There is no refridgerator, coffee maker or kettle. The plug in living room doesnt work, so we woke up without charged mobiles. The water was not draining properly in the sink and the bathroom wasn't so clean as I expected.

Good sized room on ground floor; little confusing to find the entrance to the room but the remote check-in. worked very well. Great location and a short walk to the centre of Ferrara. Lovely contemporary art adorned the walls of the rooms and common areas. We were cycling and our bikes were secure under cover. However, overall this is a great place to stay with a good continental breakfast and we would certainly stay again.

We were unable to tune into the euro football match and as no-one was on site to assist.

Breakfast was bit basic (as it tends to be in Italy) but completely satisfactory and the fresh croissants hot from oven delicious :-) Room (we had nr 4 at highest floor) was very spacious and comfortable and there was quite silent. Personel (specially the gentleman in reception) was very friendly and helpfull. The location was perfect for us, just 5-10 min walk to citycenter.

At the end our stay was very nice but originally we got room nr 6 downstairs and that was very noisy and dark, the windows facing to the street seemed to have basically no sound proofing and needed curtains all the time. The change of room was anyhow possible, handled in very friendly way and helped a lot, thanks for that !!

the room was really big and full of light, the bed very comfortable and the location fantastic, easy to reach from the carpark, few minutes walk through a beautiful park. and very close to the town centre. The check in was all managed online and we were given an access code to enter the propriety and the key was clearly labelled. the bathroom was also big and the whole place was nice and cosy

we didn't manage to find how to turn the heater down. but that wasn't really a problem

The location is an awesome spot to explore Ferrara. A short walk to the castle and restaurants and bars and next to the palazzo dei diamanti. I would also commend the hotel's communication, how easy check in and all the processes were, and Roberto was helpful (e.g helping is us turn on the big TV in the excellent common room!) To get breakfast included was great and the communal areas are very nice. It is an excellent budget friendly hotel, you very much get value. I would recommend.

We loved our stay here. The whole place was very clean, breakfast was included (very good breakfast- fresh croissants, meats, cheeses, fruit, toast yogurt etc) and Roberto even made coffees for everyone. Roberto was so lovely, made sure we had everything we needed and helped with recommendations for food, places to see, nice walking tracks etc. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay. We loved it!

This property is an unpretentious little bed and breakfast hotel well located for central Ferrara but in a quiet area. We had a suite on the second floor which surprised us by having a small second bedroom . The main bedroom was spacious with a comfortable big bed a sofa desk etc and a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. As previously mentioned there was a leg massage machine too and an exercise bike. A bottle of Prosecco was awaiting us in our mini fridge with orange juice and water and the lounge area always has an electric kettle coffee machine ,tea and tisanes and water bottles which you can take when you want . Italian breakfast is usually tiny , but in addition to the normal croissants and cakes , there were always cereals, nuts, apples and oranges ( for eating or squeezing) hard boiled eggs, sliced cheese and ham, bread for toasting , jams honey etc and yogurts . Other days there were strawberries , avocados, omelettes sausages and pancakes. The housekeeping is good and the place is spotless. This is not a full service hotel but it works really well for a comfortable city break .

The location was close to everything. The room was spacious but also beautifully eclectic. The additional features of an indoor and outdoor communal area was a huge bonus. This is without a doubt the best place we have stayed in our Italian trip this year.

That we did not stay longer

Location was excellent, close to Diamanté palace , little botanic garden, Certosa monuments and easy walking distance to all other sights. Rooftop breakfast terrace and lounge area useful with drinks freely available. Spacious bedroom . Keyless access . Charming owner who allowed us to check in early, excellent communication.

No window to outside in bedroom, just doors into an internal courtyard with people passing through so felt dark and claustrophobic as was too public to open curtains.
