We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. We originally booked a room in the annex building, but received an upgrade to a lake front room on the main building, so we felt very special. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast had plenty of options. The location is just a couple minutes walk from the main shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic stay. Special mention to receptionist Lucia who gave us lots of information about the area and was always very welcoming.

The hotel has a carparking area, but you have to pay for it. We struggled a bit during the night, because of the wood flooring, people walking around late at night in the room above us were quite noisy.

The main building has a beautiful, somewhat authentic hotel interior (only artificial flowers in vases). There is also a second building, its interior is modern, laconic. Convenient location - very close to the center, the old town, the promenade. Air conditioning (we were there in the hot summer). A bottle of water was provided in the fridge. Convenient parking.

Paid Parking, but for a reasonable fee. Breakfast was very simple, only cold food and the table, the leg of which was not stable (we noticed that other guests also had such a table).

Beautiful Belle Epoque hotel. Close to the station and the city centre. Very good breakfast (for Italian standards), with fruit, yoghurt, eggs, ... and a good cappuccino. I was staying in a room in the annex building: spacious and clean, with a good shower. A special mention for the warm welcome by the lady at the reception and for her genuine kindness and helpfulness throughout my stay. She should get a pay raise from her boss for her authentic hospitality and dedication to the hotel! (I travel a lot, and this is rare.)

The mattress and pillows were a bit hard for me - but that might be a personal taste.

The location of this beautiful and charming hotel was excellent for getting into town and the views of the lake, alps and city below were breathtaking. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and luxurious bathroom. The layout was so perfect with a separation between the bedroom and the bathroom for added privacy. So nice to be able to have the extra space after staying in some tiny rooms during our journey. We also really loved the decor throughout the hotel. The outdoor terrace was a fantastic place to enjoy the views, the sunshine and an evening aperitif. We had four of us traveling together and the two rooms both connected to the terrace. It was a special spot to unwind and talk about or day. The bonus of snacks with our drinks in the evening was such a nice touch, too. The staff were all so warm, welcoming and helpful taking extra measures to make sure we enjoyed our visit! You could not ask for a better experience in Stresa!

Pillows were too hard for my preference... but the bed was comfortable.

Great hotel, the room was big and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. Great location, only 5mins walk from the town. The hotel is situated up a slope or up about 30 steps so not for the faint hearted! We stayed in the annex, a short walk to the main building. Very quiet. Breakfast was good, always replenished with fresh items. Stresa itself is a must visit town. The views across the lake are breathtaking and the lake is great for a swim to cool off.

Some tea and coffee facilities in the room would be welcomed.

Our stay at this hotel was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Lucia and Simona for with their smiling faces, giving us all the information necessary for our stay at Stresa. The breakfast was a great variety and the location of the hotel was a 9 minute walk to the train and bus station and a 5 minute walk to the old town. Well it was practically in the old town. We stayed in the annex room. A simple ,spacious and clean room. There is a terrace where you can enjoy a drink after returning from a nice day out in and around stressa. I strongly recommend, but finding a room may be difficult since it usually is full.

The Hotel Du Park is an authentic green paradise: awesome location to explore Stresa and the Borromean Islands, easy access from the train station and a very scenic view. It was a joy to traverse the beautiful garden each time we were going out or coming back, however, I have to say that the greatest value of this hotel is in its staff. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, eager to make the visitor as comfortable as possible. We arrived before the check-in hour but our room was ready. It was clean and the balcony was a delight. Breakfast was very good and both ladies taking care of serving were very attentive. We want to say a big thank you to Lucía, who received us at the reception: such a warm welcome, so natural and kind, thank you for explaining maps and choices even with our crazy plans, and yes, we loved eating at the Papagallo. We will definitely come back to Hotel du Park

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Hotel du Parc. We stayed in the old villa which had absolutely magnificent public spaces. Our bedroom was on the 3rd floor but there is an elevator. The room was large and had a lovely balcony, bed was very comfortable. Room could use some updating but it was really lovely with beautiful views of the lake. I would recommend requesting to be in the old villa, since there is an annex that is more modern. The staff was amazing - breakfast was a beautiful spread each morning and there was a full bar for aperitifs in the evening served with generous snacks which we took up and enjoyed on our balcony each evening before dinner. It is a short walk down the hill to all the activities of the town - there was also parking on site for $8 a day. I really can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here.

Bathrooms and Bedrooms could use an update but were totally fine.

Well kept, very clean family hotel in Stresa with much to see on Borromeo islands with superb gardens and villas. 10 min walk to railway station and 5 min walk to embarkment - a key for navigating around Maggiore lake. Very welcoming and helpful staff (special thanks to Lucia at the reception who kindly upgraded our booking to a room with superb view on the lake when we've arrived on a rainy day and told us what to see around in sunnier days). Good breakfast with choices for those who eat something more essential for breakfast then croissant and coffee.

We liked the proximity to the town of Stresa and Lake Maggiore and its islands; just a five minute walk into town. We loved the view from our top floor room and the elegant architecture of the hotel. The lady on reception was very welcoming and gave excellent advice about the area and things that we should do during our stay. There was a good range of continental breakfast items. We appreciated a good range of TV channels including some in English.

There was no where comfortable to sit in our room apart from on the bed, although there was comfortable seating downstairs. We would have appreciated having a kettle in our room to make hot drinks.
