Simple, but fully functional, very nice, and spacious room that even had a little terrace. Very nice and polite staff. And to add to this, the hotel is in the perfect location, being so incredibly close to the Jeunes Rives lakefront park. The hotel thus offers incredible value for money, and I think, I will make this my preferred hotel for any future stays in Neuchâtel.

The keychains are a bit bulky to carry around, and I am not sure that it is the safest thing to indicate both hotel name and room number on them, since it might invite abuse by a finder, if the key should get lost.

Unlike some other places I've visited in French speaking Switzerland, the staff spoke excellent English. Room was clean, wifi was good, coffee & tea available in the room. Great how the floor fan was already running once I entered the room, especially on such a 30° day. Loved the fan during sleeping as well Also love the small cookies they had on the pillows as a welcome gift

Vending machine in the lobby is very pricey, but is ofc to be expected.

The bathroom in the attic room 607 was amazing. The staff were really kind and helpful. The room was nice and clean too. Great location, close to the Lake, the boats, a short walk to the Funicular (+ therefore the train station) and the town. Nice and quiet too.

When we came into the room there was a noisy dehumidifier/aircon running (which had a large tube sticking out of the window.) This was room 607. At night when we returned to the room, it was late. So, we decided to turn it off as it was too noisy we couldn't sleep. However the wind kept moving the sealant (around the tube) and despite using the earplugs provided, it was very noisy.

The rooms were quite big in size and comfortable. You can find all basic things you would expect from the room. The hotel is located just outside the old town and takes only 10 minutes from the station by walking. You can walk to the old town within a couple of minutes. Nice breakfast. Public transport ticket was included in my stay along with free entrance/discount cards for city attractions.

I am not sure if it was possible to request this but the room was not equipped with a safe. Window blind was a bit old school and it took some effort to open and close. It also makes some noise while opening and closing it which is not nice at night. You can hear the noise from the breakfast hall if you are staying on the same floor.

The staff were wonderful. The sheets were so soft. The coffee maker was great, as was the shower. The location, right in the heart of Neuchâtel is perfect. A short walk and you are at the lake - perfect for a refreshing swim. Merci.

It would be fantastic if there was air-conditioning. I do realise that this just isn't possible everywhere. In this room, the fan was the best functioning one I've seen, so that's good.

The initial welcome by the staff was very thorough. Although there was no parking at the hotel itself the large car park at the end of the street was available and only 10 Swiss francs for the two days. The room was a very good size and well equipped. The hotel was convenient for the town centre and the train station. The cost was on the high side, breakfast being another 16 sfr pppn. The bar/restaurant next door B'art was really good but either get there before 7pm or book.

A bit old fashion, but it’s very well maintain, so I can not really take it as disadvantage.

Although Neuchatel didn't meet my expectations, the location was perfect, near to everything. I also liked the breakfast, although they could add a little bit of variety. Staff was helpful, especially the cleaning ladies, they were really great. We had a small attic room with two beds. The room and the bathroom were spacious and we were pleasantly surprised when we saw a portable air conditioning in our room. Namely, it was really hot, over 35 degrees, day and night, and in Switzerland, most of the places, to our surprise, don't have ACs. We only found it in supermarkets. So, these small AC saved our lives! Ah, I almost forgot, there's a Nespresso machine and a variety of coffees and tea in the box, which was a nice touch.

It would be nice to have a little fridge, especially in those hot summer days.

Rooms are clean and well furnished. I appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine and overall the good level of the room. The staff is very friendly and open to help. The hotel is in a strategic position, close to city centre of Neuchatel.

My room was under the roof. Appreciated the presence of a portable air conditioner, but window had to remain open with significant noise coming from the street.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious room.

The pillows were bad, big but providing no support. The breakfast was ok but the coffee was very bad — luckily there was an espresso machine in the room. The ventilation also wasn’t great, so got stuffy over night.
