I have been planning to visit this hotel for quite some time, and I am happy the experience met my expectations. I strongly recommend booking the lake pavilion as it is very nice to wake up and go for a swim in the lake in the morning. The pavilion is spacious and well equipped. The bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast selection was wide and the food was very good. I also recommend to book a massage - it takes place in your pavilion, so it is very convenient, and the massage therapist is really good - my back pain went away for several days! It was a nice touch - getting a tourist book with tickets to nearly all the museums in the area and free bus passes. Puddle boards are free for hotel guests - it is a must do activity when the lake is calm. And there are bikes to rent - we took it for an hour and the price was reasonable.

My husband visited this hotel for the first time nearly 10 years ago, so of course the rooms have some wear and tear, hopefully it will be taken care of and I will be definitely returning here.

We stayed during a heat wave and consequently have a lake ensuite was fantastic. The rooms on the lake had screen door (in addition to the normal glass ones) so you could hear the lake wild life (birds etc) waking up in the morning. The views across the lake to the high peaks of the alps are fantastic.

The gym was a short walk from the main reception which in bad weather would not be so great. But that is my only complaint.

The stay was wonderful, the staff very polite and available. Impeccably clean room with a unique view. Our 7 years old daughter loved the room and we'll definitely be back.

The room doesn't have 100% blackout. For people who are more sensitive to light, this can be a problem.

breakfast a little disappointing. For me, the omelette was ruined by use of a peculiar swiss cheese that I recognize from raclette. The orange juice, listed as "fresh" was not that. We know how good fresh orange juice is in Switzerland, available at every COOP! Why not use that? Dinner was very good--but the steak would have been more enjoyable if potatoes had been added, preferably frittes, but any form would be good.

- the quality time you get in such secluded area is priceless - staff were professional and helpful - the feeling of staying in a island in the heart of Europe - spacious room with comfortable bed - the view for the lake room is incredible - jacuzzi was a beautiful touch - although there are a lot insects mainly mosquitoes outside the premise but inside the room it’s completely clean

- the toilet room was considerably small compared to the rest of the room - breakfast was delicious but could’ve been more varied

Our child received attention and presents from the staff. The interior of the room / appartment was beautiful. The jacuzzi was fun.

The room was a little too warm at night despite the air conditioning. Other than that, everything was perfect.

I like the attention we had from the staff especially at the restaurant for dinner as my husband is vegan and everyone was super accommodated to his needs (which was incredible)

breakfast was good as a meat eater, not sure about other dietary requirements though. We had to ask if there was any vegan options and even though the chef made us an incredible vegan platter it would have been nice to have vegan options as a standard in the buffet and not personally request.

Our room was directly on the lake. and view was breathtaking and very romantic. Mini bar is good enough and prices are not expensive. You will have a small bottle of Monet in the mini bar in case you want a celebration. We had Jacuzzi in the bathroom. We like the view so much and stayed at the room for the dinner and enjoyed the view in the balcony. Breakfast buffet was not too big but very well and made us happy with the options. Everything was very delicious and fresh. Stuff was also very nice and helpful. Park was free which is a plus.

Jacuzzi's size was not very big. Breakfast could be up to 11:00 am, it ends at 10:30 which I find a bit early for such a hotel.

Amazing location and design, everything was truly impeccable, loved it!

The only confusion was that our room was not directly on the lake (first row), as apparently when we booked they only had rooms left that were with a view to the lake (second row), but it was unclear from booking.com that those are not the ones on the pictures with direct access to the lake.

Property was great. Location was great, the deck over the water and ladder to jump in was perfect. Bed was super comfortable, layout was great.

The food at the bar was pretty disappointing for the cost. I enjoyed the location, view, ambiance and wine, but the food wasn’t something we’d order again. It’s also starting to look a little tired. Not bad, but starting.
