Stayed 4 nights in a wonderful suite with easy access to the roof terrace as well as our own private terrace looking out to the Citadella. Beautifully restored house in the centre of Victoria with easy access to public transport and all the main sights. Engaging hosts who happily chatted about Gozo life over a varied breakfast with Gozitan pastry treats. Varied restaurants nearby for evening meals. Great cliff and coastal walking easily accessible. Ambling round the Citadella in the evening when the daytrippers had gone was a joy. Would recommend to friends without hesitation, and hope to return ourselves.

The hotel was beautifully appointed, and better in person than in the photos. Our room was a great size and very breezy with lots of windows. We had a lovely view of the Citadella from our room and our balcony, which was lovely to sit and rest after a day of sightseeing. The hotel was centrally located and an easy walking distance to anywhere in Victoria; to the square, the Citadella, restaurants and shops. Our hosts Patrice and Isabelle were the loveliest couple, and freely gave advice on how to make the most of our day during our delicious breakfast on the terrace each morning. Their recommendations were really helpful and we enjoyed chatting with them to learn about their own lives living in Gozo.

These are not negatives for us - just points to make others aware... Part of being centrally located means you're also near churches, with bells. We knew this when we booked, so were not suprised by the bells early in the morning. So much so, we slept with the windows open! Our room was on the top floor, which also meant climbing the stairs (there is no lift), but again we knew this as it was clearly mentioned before booking. Again, not a negative, but important for other guests to make sure they read the information before booking to avoid surprises.

By far one of the best accommodation we have ever had. Our hosts were super friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They shared knowledge of the area and of key things to do and see whilst in Gozo. Breakfast was fantastic, served by our hosts and they took the time each morning to chat with guests. The hosts were great communicators, prior to check in and throughout the stay. Check in and out process was super easy. The room was spectacular, right in the heart of Victoria. Location was superb, close to sights and public transport. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend staying here! Also photos of the rooms on booking.com were accurate.

Superb location, in the heart of town but quiet by night. The owners are very hospitable and accomodating. I loved that they provided beach towels. Room was large, with plenty of space for luggage as well as a large separate bathroom. Space is modern with heritage charm. Cute communal terrace to eat the breakfast that’s included.

Just a preference - would have loved Greek style Yoghurt rather than the one provided. There are lots of stairs so you’ll need to consider this if you have mobility issues or large heavy luggage.

The owners, Patrice and Isabelle, were really friendly, making you instantly feel at home and offering great suggestions for walks, swimming places, and using the buses. The hotel has been beautifully created and is a lovely mix of old and new. The roof terrace is a perfect place for the delicious breakfast or an evening beer, with its stunning view of the Citadel. Fantastic location in the old part of the city; busy by day, but empty and quiet at night.

Provicario is perfecty located in the centre of Victoria and the historical building is totally renovated. The rooms are very nice, soundproof and with a confortable kingsized bed. Isabelle and Patrice provided very useful information for visiting Gozo. Breakfast was quite good. The roof terrace is simply fantastic, with an amazing view on the Cittadella.

Towels and room cleaning are available only on demand. At least cleaning might be arranged every day without asking.

This beautiful house, really more like a palazzo, nestles in the center of historical Rabat (Victoria), on the peaceful island of Gozo, Malta There are magnificent cathedrals and museums nearby, but also wonderful beaches and local restaurants. The hosts of Provicario, are gracious, generous, endlessly patient, and provide a beautiful and tasty breakfast each morning on the roof terrace. The rooms are stylishly appointed with every convenience—think mid-century modern furnishings in an exceedingly well updated 500-year-old house. We found it to be one of the most charming and comfortable places we’ve ever stayed and can’t wait to return! Thank you, Patrice and Isabelle, for four very memorable days!

Rien! It was perfect!

The location is perfect and the hotel was decorated nicely superbly presented, the way that isobelle and patrice made you feel very welcome and were super hosts with lots of knowledge with ideas and best places to visit, what to expect and how to get there

Although there is a fridge for you to use in the kitchen on top floor a mini fridge would have been a nice touch especially as it can get really hot in summer

Provicario is a gorgeous little boutique b&b hotel perfectly located in the centre of Victoria (Rabat) Gozo literally steps away from the main square / taxi drop-off point and close to everything the city (and island) has to offer. It was made by combining several buildings into one and it's solid construction and thoughtful renovation ensures it is cool and quiet. Patrice and Isabelle are charming and very helpful owner/managers and have thought of everything a visitor might need from a delicious breakfast served by them personally to free beach towels and umbrellas and first rate touring and dining recommendations. Our room (with balcony) was lovely and the view from the rooftop terrace superb.

Stunning accommodation and our wonderful hosts Isabelle et Patrice are so knowledgeable of Gozo and Malta it made our day trips around a delight. Their delicious, filling breakfasts introduced us to Gozo's delicacies. Their beautiful house is in the centre of Victoria overlooking the Citadel a few minutes walk from bus station
