Booked this weekend stay on my 19 year old daughter’s behalf, with short notice. Location was perfect and felt safe and secure. Breakfast was good - typical continental style. Staff and hotel were very accommodating as they allowed my daughter to check in earlier on arrival and check out later on her last day. Bed and bathroom were great. A couple of issues with payment for the hotel. I had paid on booking.com but the receptionist needed my signed authorisation, which we managed to do via email, however, shouldn’t be required as I had paid and my card details were on booking.com. The process was sorted swiftly, so all good in the end!

The room was a good sized corner room, with good windows that exclude external noise with curtains that black-out any external light. The room had good lighting and European power sockets.

The air conditioning unit worked they well providing a good cool flow of air - however, the control unit was difficult to operate. The television was large, but the operating instructions in the room 'guide' did not match the options available 'on-screen' so it wasn't possible to gain access to the large number of channels advertised in the room guide.

Fantastic location in the old town area, so close to so many sights! The room had everything we needed, was very clean and had a very comfortable bed perfect for a cosy & restorative night’s sleep after walking up and down the centre around the river. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The hotel is part of a gallery and there’s beautiful art and poems displayed on each floor.

It was a Friday during Ramadan when we stayed, we could hear music from the nearby square by 9pm - we were tired after exploring so it didn’t keep us up, for light sleepers perhaps bring ear plugs.

Excellent location on the corner of Williams Square (Place Guillaume III) (see view from window of room). Pretty much any spot you want to see in the city is well within walking distance. If you want to take public transport (remember it is free within Luxembourg), there are a couple stops within a very short walk. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. We visited during the Christmas markets and all were easily accessible from our hotel, with the two largest markets less than a minute walk. The main shopping area is also a minute or two walk away.

Mattresses are thinner than most European mattresses we have become accustomed to.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Hotel Simoncini. The location is excellent, right by the main square and just a short 3 stop tram ride from the train station. Our twin room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I think our room was the biggest on our floor, so other rooms may be smaller. The included breakfast was great with lots of variety and eggs cooked on request. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Luxembourg.

Room was very spacious (normally reserved for people with mobility problems I suppose). Large TV. Pillows of three different sizes. Daily cleaning to a high standard and definitely not intrusive! Quality breakfast with option for omelets, cheese selection, smoked salmon and different breads to choose from. Really liked the option for a "sweet" breakfast with various cakes and pastries on offer. Location was super!

The actual toilet was fixed just a bit too high on the wall for normal height people to be comfortable when sitting down. The hairdryer's performance is mediocre (Hose type & pre-installed in bathroom) and takes a long time to pickup temperature. The room had just one socket outlet on one of the sides (near the head) of the double bed (there was another socket on a piece of furniture away form the bed. It is therefore not possible for two people to charge their mobile phones on their bedside tables or to use them while being charged and in bed. Would like to have the additional option of mushrooms for the breakfast omelets.

Great location in Luxembourg City. Easy walk to almost everywhere and the public transportation system is fantastic, free to everyone everywhere in the country. Get the Mobiliteit app. Breakfast was standard and plentiful, can request scrambled eggs or omelet if wanted. Room was small but fine for one. Was visiting for Christmas markets, two main ones were each within a block or two.

A bigger room would've been nice but of course you'd pay for that. One small desk with chair, a nice easy chair would've been nice but couldn't have fit in in this room. Small complaints, I don't travel to sit in my room!

Got Covid on the aircraft (most probably) and started having symptoms on the evening before my 3rd night stay. My booking was for 7 nights total. Except from attending training and only getting out of the Hotel to get something to eat, I spent most of my stay in my room. Yianna (hope I am spelling the name right) was extremely helpful and even went beyond her duties to provide me with a rapid Antigen test when asked. She was very helpful and it was really comforting knowing that someone was available at any moment to assist me. Really appreciated this!!!

There were two remote controls in my room for TV entertainment, one of which was used for Netflix. Never managed to make it work and I found no instructions or information whether there was an extra charge for its use. To be honest, I could have asked but I neglected doing so.

Excellent location in the city center and near public transportation options. The hotel had a modern feel and the room was clean. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of options.

The room was small and not much space for two pieces of regular-sized luggage. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the pillows were too flat. Our biggest complaint was that we could not control the temperature of our room. It got very warm and stuffy at night which made for a terrible night's sleep. The windows were operatable, but there was a lot of noise from the street. Breakfast was hectic. When we arrived there was only one person available to clear tables, take orders, and prepare the eggs.

Location of the hotel is excellent within walking distance to many of the tourist sights, and many restaurants to choose from. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was well varied and included very fresh bread and fresh fruit.

The AC was not cool enough since the outside temperature increased and we could not open the window due to the festivities in the streets.
