Reasonably priced, comfortable hotel in central Montpellier, with underground parking (through a maze of one-way streets) at reasonable price. Friendly, helpful staff. Bar/Restaurant on same premises (but run as a separate enterprise, so no charging to room) has limited menu but served some excellent dinners (seafood, cold meats & cheeses...)

Breakfasts were poor but tolerable - except for the coffee which was almost undrinkable - in contrast to that bought from the bar which was fine. In contrast to most dinners, one was truly awful: one of us had meat kebabs and the other chicken kebabs, but both were tasteless, full of gristle and tough. In the early hours of one morning, the fire-alarm went off (apparently due to a faulty coffee-maker in the kitchen, but fortunately no fire. However, when we got down from the 4th floor to the ground, the exit was locked with no handle. (I was later shown that there was an emergency button in a box, but this was behnd one if one was facing the door.)

room was gorgeousss easily the nicest hostel i’ve stayed in on my trip so far. it is the most expensive but £27pn isn’t much at all for the facilities you get. privacy curtain, a separate toilet and shower room plus two sinks for a 6-bed female dorm. lovely smoking area where they play music.

no kitchen to make/store food. the common area doubles as a restaurant so difficult to tell who’s staying in the hostel or who’s visiting the restaurant. luckily everyone in my room was friendly! i didn’t pay for the breakfast but it’s 20€ which is a loooot when travelling on a budget, it is buffet style but you also have to let them know the day before if you want to attend.

I liked everything! The staff was so incredibly kind! There were three very friendly people at reception when I checked in, searched the bar for a thing I needed and when hey didn't find it, they recommended couple places nearby where I could buy it. At the check out, the lady was very sweet and helpful as well. The stay itself was in very clean, quiet and pitch black at night room, no funny odour, no noise. The bed was comfortable, the shower and toilet was for the room only. Everything was modern and well equipped. My roommate were respectful and kind, I've not slept this good in long time! I can't believe how cheap the accommodation was!

Everything was perfect ~

The location is fantastic as it was right next to the main Saint-Roch railway station and beside two tram stops serving the city. Even before we had checked in (we arrived 4 hours early for this) the staff were very helpful. One of them explained how to download the public transport app, how the ticketing worked and to purchase tickets on the system. We visited the triumphal arches and the aqueduct by tram before check in. The old city is well worth exploring. The hotel is more like a hostel than a hotel. Colourfully designed with a relaxed atmosphere.

We expected a small room but that was part of the trade off for convenience and price so not an issue.

Comfortable room, very clean and easy access. Good location, friendly staff!

The music was a bit loud at night (from the 2nd floor)

We had one night from a Thursday, I don't know how noisy would have been during the weekend. The staff seemed friendly. At first the restaurant french kiss is shown very much compared to the hotel name so we were not sure it was the right entrance. It looks very trendy and lots of events everyday are going on, Thursday night was after-work event with a DJ at the terrace. Room was clean and comfy bed, It was Like the silence radio when we were inside our bedroom. It was a perfect location for a night away from our kids, TWOgether again!

Hotel has great location with train station on one side and city center on the other. The staff is extremely friendly, making the atmosphere truly enjoyable. Our room was simple, but perfectly clean with comfortable furniture. If ever again in this city we will gladly stay in this hotel again

The room is very tight, fitting for simply spending the night. Some rooms' windows look onto the restaurant's veranda and must be noisy, but with additional request we received room with the view onto a wall - not very picturesque, but much more quiet indeed.

Great location. Good family room. Clean. Underground parking underneath the hotel. Please be aware that it is not straight forward to get there by car because of the pedestrian zone. Ask for instructions before driving there. At some point you need to call them and they will lower some obstacles in the road (metal poles with blue border, such that you can pass. This point is 300m away from the hotel in a crowdy street, so not so trivial. Typing in the hotel address in Google maps will not get you there, call them first! Their help was great in guiding us there by phone.

Explanation on how to get to their underground parking could have been documented better beforehand. A standard explanation would have been helpful.

The vibe of this place is so chill; it really helps you get into holiday mode. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was great; much better than most hotel breakfasts. The room itself was very clean. The location is extremely convenient- literally one minute away from the station and 5 minutes from the place de la Comédie. There is a lovely garden where you can take your breakfast or eat during the day.

If you're on the lower floors it can be loud with people downstairs playing pool or generally socialising, though the windows are very well insulated re sound. The bed was very comfortable, but the quilt was so thick and warm - perfect for the colder months, but it was way too warm for the May weather, and it was either that or nothing.

The staff were amazing. Professional, able and willing to give the best service, with a smile. I liked the vibe, and checking in at the bar, with easy elevator access. English was spoken, which was helpful. The guests were friendly as well. There was even an enclosed terrace which was great for playing with my dog.

The lighting was poor. A cozy lamp would help a lot, and more plugs or a multi extension cord. It was difficult to find the parking garage because of the street configurations. A set of instructions with a sketch map would be so appreciated.
