The facilities are beautiful. They are in the same location as the Hilton and the staff was amazing. The same staff a the Hilton takes care of you ans they are all great. At the end of breakfast they surprised us with a dessert tray wishing us a nice trip. Such am amazing way os making ua feel special. (See pic)

The room and facilities are very nice at this hotel...but what really makes it great is the staff. This is our second time staying there. Don Enrique the kitchen manager was so kind, professional, and attentive...and doña Maria who makes the pupusas is our favourite - no one makes pupusas like she does! Everyone was very attentive and kind (as they should be at any hotel, but the service here was above and beyond!). The building itself is a bit old, but it is being restored. There were painters working while we were there this week, and our room was freshly painted as well. The beds are super comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is out of this world...I think I gained about 2-3 pounds this week... On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this property an 11. We are looking forward to returning soon, God willing.

Staff were courteous, professional and friendly. The breakfast included in our booking was very good. Parking security was excellent. The room which had two tv’s, was spacious, clean, comfortable and with a great Mountain View.

The only issue we had was there was no liquid creamer or half and half for the coffee. They only had milk and powder creamer which was very disappointing traveling from the U.S. We stayed at Barcelo hotel earlier in the year and they had a Nescafé machine with all sorts of options including cappuccino, which tasted great, included in the complimentary breakfast.

Absolutely amazing 5 star breakfast buffet with breathtaking views of the volcano. The hotel gift shop is a gem And the coffee shop with the various treats is delicious. It is definitely Family friendly. It is kept sparkling clean. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming.

The only criticism I have of our entire long visit – I feel that when the hotel hosts very large groups/reunion/graduation parties – noise can be heard in the hotel and as guests I feel like that should be balanced. Possibly, the reunions or DJ could go to the conference room somewhere else in the hotel, and we don’t have to hear the partying/very loud bass The one redeeming quality was the party Did end at like 10/1030 but still for those of us that go to bed at like 8:30, We like it very quiet

Breakfast was great. Bed was wonderful.

Facility seemed a little dated. However, staff and room were clean and comfortable.

The Plaza is located on the grounds of the Hilton San Salvador and shares facilities including the reception desk with the Hilton. We had a one-bedroom suite in the Plaza which was an amazing value for price paid. Breakfast was included in our rate; it was a buffet in the Hilton part of the property and included pupusas made to order. The Hilton is one of the better properties in the city but by staying at the Plaza you get the advantages of being on Hilton grounds at a more reasonable price. We used Uber to get around the city - call it US$5 to get to the main square from the hotel and around $36 from the airport.

Didn't see any signage on the street indicating we were at the Plaza; all signage was for the Hilton. Had to stop and ask if we were at the right hotel. Some taxi drivers may not be familiar with the property until you tell them it used to be the Sheraton before it was rebranded into the Hilton.

The breakfast was amazing; by far the best I have seen at any hotel (I gained three pounds in three days)...the beds were also amazing, very comfortable. The staff was outstanding, very cordial and helpful, and they made us feel like family there. The kitchen staff even made us a special treat for the day that we were leaving, and we took photos together, just like family! Many thanks to don Enrique, doña Maria, and doña Flor, for making us feel right at home and treating us like royalty. Also, this hotel is connected by an indoor walkway to the Plaza Futura, a huge, luxurious plaza with restaurants, financial institutions, and shops. We look forward to staying there again on our next visit, God willing!

Unfortunately, the fitness center was closed for repairs when we were there. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Very comfortable plenty space , staffs very professional starting with Carmen making great pupusas ,Jaime at the omelet station always very attentive, in the restaurant Yeyme ,Roberto and the rest of the team very friendly and professional, at the front desk very professional asking about our stay Jessenia ,Rodrigo and Bryant.

The bathroom need some shells inside the shower to place the shampoo, , conditioner soaps etc.

Loved the space! Big bedroom, big tv in both rooms, the living room and the bedroom. The little kitchen with the fridge and the microwave was so convenient! Did not use the pool but was a nice size and clean. There is a gym, but It needs maintenance. Loved how the hotel is connected to Plaza Futura. You can find good food at a walking distance and also ATMs if you need cash. Loved the bar with the DJ. The customer service is very good. I'm giving the concierge a 10! Outstanding service from these guys.

These suites could be awesome if the hotel takes the time to make repairs. There is hot water, but at times, it comes out cold. The rug is old, and the first room we got the rug was old, and ripped the entire room needs a make-over. The rooms looked vintage, loved them. However, with renovations, this could be beautiful.

The lobby was gorgeous, and the staff was super friendly. The ambient is relaxed, and it has the services listed on the page. Something I thanked was that staff, even security guards or personnel, is not over you, only one check at the entrance. I liked the courtesy coffee and water!

No breakfast is included, even for the expensive bill. The furniture is a little bit dated, and the bathtub didn't have the bath plug/cork, so it's impossible to have a bath in the bathtub. In the dorm room, the lights were hard to light/turn off due to the switch being far from the door and far from the bed. Also, the coffee maker was broken. Worse of all, it required a lot of walking from the lobby to be in the room.
