Whilst it may have been my poor observation, it wasn’t obvious when booking that the kitchen areas are shared between three rooms. If you wanted to sit out of the room in the evening, this could be more difficult for some.

Location is close to the town centre, breakfast was nice and accommodated my needs. The ladies were very friendly. I would recommend for families than a single traveller.

I was extremely unhappy before I left the hotel. I appreciated they allowed me to leave my luggage and came back to retrieve it. But when I was back and tried to tidy up myself in the breakfast/living room, the gentleman host gave me an unfriendly look and it sounded to me that I should not be sitting there and I was ruining their business, had to have their dogs locked because I was afraid of dogs. This last little thing completely ruined my experience here.

The staff and owners were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing 10/10. The rooms were so tidy and clean. The location is so convenient if you are looking to walk to the shops instead of driving. During our stay we didn't have any problems at all because the owners and the staff were very good at preventing and solving any problems we might have had. So I'd say there's nothing I didn't like about 10 Alexander B&B

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was great (especially the banana-maple-ham toast), the garden is extremely cosy and colourful (with gooseberries you can eat from the tree) and many small, hidden hideaways around the building.

The family room (but also other rooms) are a bit narrow. This did not create major problems because we mainly were in town or in the garden, but it can get a bit crowded during bad weather.

Beautiful quiet and airy room with mosquito netting throughout so I could sleep with all windows open and not a worry. Super comfortable bed. Nice self serve kitchen. Best breakfast imaginable with any and everything available, home-made and delicious, including three different kinds of home-made bread. Have not had better breakfast in five star hotels.

Breakfast was amazing - so much choice of gorgeous food! The owners were really helpful and made sure each morning that we had all the advice we needed about where to go each day. The pool was lovely and perfect for an end of day dip. The room was great - clean, big enough and had all the basics you would need from a room, including a mini kitchen for self catering. The B&B felt safe and secure.

A really great accommodation! Already upon arrival I had the feeling of being very warmly welcomed by the two hosts. The room had everything you need in terms of equipment. For the network-conditional powerless hours were even battery lamps available. The garden is a true green oasis with a beautiful pool and sunbathing areas. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast. There is really nothing missing here! In addition to a wiklich great English breaktfast there was fruit, pancakes, cereal and jam. Breakfast was delicious, varied and beautifully presented. Staff were delightful, setting and the pool were gorgeous and our hosts were chatty , interesting, amusing and friendly. The room was lovely - airy and nicely furnished. It has a small kitchen as part of the suite which was absolutely fantastic, a wonderful bonus as a separate living space and very useful asset. If we'd been staying longer, we would have used it to prepare and cook an evening meal. It was very well equipped and immaculate.

Nothing our lovely hosts could have done about it, but we are both relatively light sleepers and the traffic noise from the main road was quite intrusive at times, continuing late into the night and starting early in the morning. We're older guests so I think rather more tolerant than the young. If I had a criticism, and it's a very gentle one, I would say our room needs updating to fit in with modern demands. Everything works and it's immaculately clean, but it's a bit tired in the decor and the bathroom could do with a refurb at some point.

Local bird species makes a lot of noise in the mornings, but we would still stay here.

I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort and especially the very personal concern for one’s well being.

I did suggest that they leave a risk or biscuit for one to have with one’s tea, which was gratefully accepted and was immediately taken into consideration. I asked for full cream milk and it was supplied without question. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
