This was a last minute emergency booking but we couldn’t have been happier, the staff were friendly and explained on the phone where we could park, they were will to make us a drink for when we arrived as the bar was closing by the time we found this hotel to stay in. All the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

The room was generously equipped with tea, buscuits, crisps and a minifridge. Very clean. The staff was really friendly. Check-in was easy and fast with staff ready at the door to receive us. The food was exceptional. It's a bit pricey, but worth every cent.

Lovely property in the back streets of Whitehaven, from the minute we walked in everyone and everything was perfect, the room was lovely the bar area and restaurant was also lovely. The staff were like a well oiled military machine wearing their earphones whilst moving around. Nothing was any trouble for them.

Faultless. Amazing food. Rooms super comfortable. Lovely friendly staff. I was gutted I had to cut our stay short because I left my medication at home.

What is there not to like about this hotel.

Quiet position with comfortable rooms. Food has a good selection and the bar is also good. Staff are very helpful and chatty

Rooms were lovely, location was ideal though no on-site parking. Food has been consistently excellent and I look forward to staying again

An excellent hotel with a good restaurant right in the centre of town and 5 minutes from the sea.

The bed was very soft and bathroom would have been better with a shower. The room was very expensive.

Lovely place to stay, great rooms & breakfast.

No parking at property but still ok

Situated in the very center of Whitehaven perfect to get around town and the Lakess. The restaurant was excellent cooking local produce to a very high standard and in the morning an excellent breakfast. the Chef and owner Lee was great and chatted to us along with front of house Tony nothing was to much trouble. A great break and we will be going back.

Parking was the only thing as we had to part in car park not part of the hotel but only a minuets walk. And of course the rain at this time of the year.
