The satff here are very helpful , Patrick stored my bike for me and the pool and gym hardly had any one in so it was mostly to our selves which was great. Food and drinks brilliant. The place was very clean. Staff very helpful.

This hotel is dated and was a little tired and disappointing in some ways , the bathroom was a little dated too , would be nice to see a little TLC given and up dates here and there . Wall paper peeling off the walls etc , boken tile, tired and old fashioned , on arrival flowers dead in the entrance ( however they were changed by the time we came back ) The pool area smelt a bit on the second day,

We have to say, your staff are outstanding. Very friendly. Breakfast was lovely but don't understand why it can't be in the restaurant upstairs as it's empty over breakfast time. The breakfast area feels like a cafe and too cold. The staff there were amazing this morning though.

The breakfast area. The carpets as your probably aware need replacing. They do smell as they are old. We stayed in room 15 and there were black hairs on the shower wall and is probably still there. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

It was an old building and could certainly use a make over BUT it only came across as character. The little things they made like cloth hand towels, incredible food, incredible lovely staff just went that extra mile. If I am in the area again i go no where but to this hotel. I was the only vegan person in our party and for each meal they made me a special vegan dish which was served, presented and cooked fantastically. I was super surprised by the length they would go for me. They had a massive pool!!!

Carpets are tinsy bit old and smelly but it didn’t impact my experience and I am only putting it here as a constructive criticism.

Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked, very very friendly and professional lady serving. Beautifully presented tables. Reception staff very helpful and welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was extremely comfortable. The gentleman working the night shift was so lovely. I asked if was possible to get some ice as wasn’t feeling well and very hot, expecting a pint glass of ice at most and he went to the trouble of finding a very very large container and gave me an entire bucket full of ice. Locked myself out of my room in the early hours and had to ring reception for help, answered immediately and was so kind ( I was so embarrassed had put key card to close to my phone) he was so helpful, put me at ease immediately and told me it was no trouble at all. He was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Swimming Pool was very nice, very clean and a lovely relaxing place to be.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Quiet and perfect location. With a "tight" car park.

Only one small towel in the bathroom. Ok for a solo traveller. It took ten minutes to get hot water in the shower.4th floor. Nearly gave up. Have to book breakfast when signing in. Breakfast café just round the corner from hotel

Bed was the comfiest I've slept in for a while. Lady on the desk was lovely. Room was clean and warm (I've stayed in places that were neither)

My only issue was the cold tap in the bathroom (bath, not sink) wouldn't turn on properly so I had to use the shower for cold water to top up the bath. Everything else was great

The staff are the heart of this hotel. My main reason for staying here is the location and the wonderful team who I feel would notice if I wasn't ok. This is a huge comfort for a single traveller.

Room, pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, Jane Street Breakfast and staff. All were very polite and helpful and one young girl waitress whom I didn’t catch the name of but had right pride colour umbrella earings was very professional in her manner and service. A credit to the hotel. 👍🏻

Cant say there’s anything I didn’t like. A small hicup with the booking process information but I understand there was some changes to the system which may have caused it. It cost me £39 extra but still worth it.

The food was superb - I had been told it was good but didn't expect it to be so good. The serving staff were lovely at dinner and breakfast, informative and helpful. Breakfast had great choice.

My shower was too hot on day 1 and I couldn't alter it. I told reception and it was sorted for day 2. My only complaint was the absence of shelving in my bathroom for all my lotions and potions.

Comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool and sauna were good. Free parking was welcome too. Decent water pressure and a good hot shower.

Room was pretty small and the view was a roof about 10' away. Bathroom was a bit cramped. Gym was limited (though all functioning). Car park is an exercise in Tetris and bravery.
