The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a lovely interior and the rooms were modern in appearance. A lovely touch was having a couple of tunnocks tea cakes waiting to be eaten with a coffee/tea.This let's you know your in Glasgow. The local area had amenities for use and the hotel itself offered dinner and breakfast. It had an outside seating area which we did use.The bar in the hotel was a bustling area however there were plenty of staff on hand to ensure you were served in good time. There was a function on that evening so may not represent a usual Friday night. We were going to an event at Rouken Glen Park and this hotel was perfect for location and staff kindly gave us directions to the event.Overall it was a great night spent in Glasgow with the hotel providing a high class service with friendly, caring staff and first class amenities. The photo is of the entrance to the bar area not the hotel itself, the hotel has a more grand entrance and doesn't disappoint.-

Cooked breakfasts were suberb. Good choice of things to eat. Location of hotel was excellent for us as we were visiting family in Giffnock and Thornliebank. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant services and selection of meals on offer were excellent.
Breakfast cereals were limited. Ran out of corn flakes on the second day of our 11 night stay. Still not replenished when we left. We were kept told that they were expecting an order. Similar story with jams on each table. Had to ask for bed sheets to changed after 7 or 8 nights. Sometimes we had to ask for towels and for tea bags to be replenished. Parking was a nightmare. Had to compete with the regular hotel patrons.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Served promptly and portion size more than adequate. The evening meal was also cooked to perfection. The room was very spacious apart from the shower room which was quite small but I imagine it's what to expect in older property. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient and made you feel very welcomed.
There is not much to dislike about this hotel other than when the temperature is high outdoors the room becomes quite hot.

Lovely accommodating staff and great location, only 5 mins from restaurants and train station. Food in the hotel restaurant was great. Bed was comfy.
The only downsides were that the room was very warm, so the window had to be open the whole time, and there was a pedestrian crossing right outside that went off very frequently and was very loud. And for the price we paid for each night, the bathroom and room were small.

This hotel was well placed for a nearby family wedding and we booked 6 rooms between us. They were all a bit differently shaped from each other, but everyone found the staff super friendly and helpful, the beds very comfortable and the rooms, clean, well appointed, with tea, coffee and even the fun extra of a couple of Tunnocks teacakes in each room.
We were all up quite late, I think that if you wanted an early night you might notice some noise from the bar down below, which shut about 12 midnight the Saturday night we were there.

Our room was very clean and comfortable with all modern attachments to make your stay comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities provided. The Tunnocks tea cakes were a particularly nice touch. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Scottish breakfast was very well presented and very tasty. The black pudding in particular was to die for. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Would go back to the Orchard Park Hotel again.
Probably already had this critique previously in respect of room 6 but the bathroom was very cramped indeed. Not much leg room between the toilet bowl and the bathroom wall. I am 5 foot 8 inches and I only just managed. Anybody any taller would really struggle. Felt like a.naughty school boy sat in the corner.

I had to attend a funeral and this hotel popped up on Booking.com. I subsequently discovered that one of my Brothers was born here when it was a Maternity home !! The bed and pillows were very comfortable And the service when I went for my dinner was outstanding. All of the serving staff were very efficient, and my meal was delicious.
I looked out onto a ventilation unit on a flat roof. Not really a problem as I hadn’t come to sight see. There were building works going on when I visited which detracted from what is a very nice building. Again there are moments when this kind of work have to take place, so not a fault.

Comfortable stay. Very quiet room considering above very busy pub. Good breakfast. Very nice person served breakfast and spoke to us about our trip. Great Italian delicatessen and restaurant just round the corner.
Shower over bath which is problematic for older people. No hand rails to hang onto when climbing out of bath. No fridge. Location not central so price tag of £143 on the more expensive side.

The room had everything I needed and got an iron and ironing board as soon as requested. All as expected. Very nice hotel. I only had toast and poached egg for breakfast but the eggs were perfect so all good. Parking always a bonus - that was the reason for me selecting this hotel as it had onsite free parking. All staff I spoke to were lovely and helpful.. the young man on reception when I arrived even carried by case upstairs.. a nice touch. :-)
My room (room2) was a little noisy as the pedestrian lights right outside was constant around school time but after about 5 it was ok.. (not a problem the hotel can do anything about!)..If I had put the TV on it would have probably drowned it out but I was working so heard it clearly.. there was a loud clicking noise that seemed sporadic which was annoying - I assume it was from the radiator but it woke me up both mornings very early.. might be something to do with me requesting the heating a full blast as I am always cold.
