My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Gloria's! The only problem was related to Zesco and power, which of course they can't control. I would definitely recommend staying here. Ask the staff (I don't want to share her name for privacy reasons) for a fairly priced ride to Vic Falls! Town is within walking distance. There was consistently hot water and the beds were comfy. Clean, too!

The only thing that could make the stay better is making sure there is Nescafe (not the decaf kind) in the rooms every day. But this is a very small thing that I could have easily asked for, so that's also on me!

Breakfast was exceptional, especially dining at the pool area. You can also eat at or in your room. Even if you book the self-catering apt - breakfast is stil included. Pool was perfect with deck chairs and gardens. Gloria is a great owner host with a wonderful team that makes you feel at home. Ask Gloria about the 1-3 day tour package that you can book before you check in. That tour recommendation of a local tour outfit (ask for Martin) made sure we had the best of Zambia - which included airport pick up and drop off even into Zimbabwe.

The quick response to my communication. Very very lovely owner and daughter who were very helpful and had great suggestions. We were leaving before the allocated start of breakfast (included) so they made us sandwiches the night before ….. they were amazingly delicious 🤩 Good security with a nightwatchman. Quiet - so a good nights sleep. They are plagued with national power outages but had overcome this obstacle by providing fans and lighting for when this occurred. Excellent value for money

It said dinner ( evening meal) could be arranged but this was not the case. Meal deliveries were an option from town. There are great restaurants in town which they told us about & we checked out 🤩 Walking in and out is a possibility … but not for us in the heat. Taxis are everywhere and very cheap to take you in and bring you home …. so this is a GREAT option which we recommend.

We love Gloria!!! Gloria, the host, went out of her way with everything: Kindness, service, support and, and, and ... , the accommodation is located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood in walking distance to the city center, it is within a beautiful, well-kept garden that provokes to calm down and relax even during rainy days, nice terrraces in front of every room. The team prepared good breakfast in front of the pool and helped with laundry. Dear Gloria: Thank you again very much for driving us to the bus station early in the morning and for sending a parcel to us to Lusaka. That was awesome!!! :-)

It's very nice to sit in the garden and enjoy the pool with a cold drink. Don't hesitate to ask for help, they are genuinely helpful and when they provide a service it is at a very fair price. Breakfast is nice and they even offered to pack it for us as we were leaving very early on the last day.

Sometimes the generator is needed to provide electricity (the grid is a little weak in Zambia and they load shed). Personally I would prefer no electricity and no generator noise, but I can see that others would prefer to be able to charge their cameras and other devices. However they are also using Solar power as much as possible and try to keep the generator to a minimum.

The area is peaceful and feels safe. The property yard is well maintained with excellent garden. Rooms are spacious. Staff is amazing.

Glass slidding door could be tinted to ensure privacy, especially since it is facing the gate. Windows can either be tinted or put lace curtains. If you are relaxing, you want to be nude without offending others. Also, some rails for drying bath towels and underwears would help.

Attractive property in a secluded part of town within easy walking distance of town centre. Beautiful relaxing garden with large swimming pool. Pleasant staff always on hand to attend to any needs and advise on the multitude of things to do in the area and beyond. Livingstone is the ideal place from which to plan your trips and adventures. Every day starts with a generous breakfast and smiles all-round from lovely friendly staff. Booked 4 days, stayed 10. Loved it. Thanks Gloria and all the staff

Very attentive and friendly staff, Gloria can even help with organizing tours as she has a long-grown network. We had help for a few activities, where she made calls for us and helped us with the price as well. The pool is nice, breakfast good, rooms with AC really nice. Location quiet and good with about 15 walking minutes from shops and main bus station, no taxi needed.

A nice unit in a lovely garden setting. Very comfortable bed. Little table and chairs just outside unit. Breakfast was very good. Was able to sit with other guests and enjoy chatting with them. Gloria let us know ahead of time that we needed to pay by cash. We were very appreciative to know this ahead of time.

Unit is not located close to town and restaurants although it is within a 15 minute walk. Loadshedding. Not Gloria’s fault. She has solar as a back-up.

A very comfortable place, with a very good breakfast and a nice pool, in an attractive garden. Gloria and her staff were welcoming and really helpful, going out of their way to help. The location is good in a quiet area about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Livingstone - and easy to find a taxi on the road outside. My son and I really enjoyed our stay. We would thoroughly recommend it.

The A/C in our room was a little noisy, but very effective - so not really a problem. Everything else was just about perfect!
