Breakfast is amazing, the garden, terrace of the rooms are very relaxing and calm with nice flowers and smell of pine trees. I also liked the bed and shower products. Eleni is a very nice and helpful host.

The air conditioner works perfectly with multiple silence and turbo modes. It is a new one but in our room it was just in front of the bed so it was hard to use it since it hits us directly while sleeping. That is a problem for me but not for everyone.

Very cozy and quiet hotel with friendly and helpful owner and staff. Stunning view to the mountain's. Lovely cats walking around. Big pool, where you can easily swim. Perfect localization. We always prefer small familiy objects instead of big modern hotels, because only there you are able to feel the spirit of the Crete.

Maybe the hotel is not so modern but you get all you need and it is worth of price.

We only spend 2 nights at Coral. But it was great! The Manager of the Hotel, Eleni, is very sweet and so Friendly, she is just lovely! The Breakfast ist perfekt, they offer a lot of different things, so there is everything for everyones taste! Its just a small walk to the beach and the center of Matala. The Rooms are simple but good and very clean and the beds are very good. We will definitely come back next year and we can really recommend the Coral Hotel.

Near to Matala beach - walking distance. Very good breakfast starting at 8am. Rather basic but very clean rooms. Hotel with spirit of the Matala's best times in its best manner. And of course - exceptionaly kind lady owner!

We loved the meticulous attention to the grounds of Hotel Coral - the lush, flowering plants and trees, the cleanliness of the rooms and pool. The Hotel is about a half mile to the village center and the setting with the dramatic cliffs and mountains is wonderful. The proprietor gave us a room with an oversize balcony overlooking the pool, complete with chairs, little table and umbrella, drying rack for wet bathing suits and towels. This is a quiet, low-key little gem of a hotel; a breakfast spread was available. We feel very lucky to have found this place. Eleni and Maria were friendly and attentive to all our needs.

I went to Matala for the Music festival , had no issues at all, every thing was fine for my needs, the location was perfect 5 min walk from the beach , far enough away not to hear the concert should you leave early, the staff / owner were super friendly and helpful

the bed was a bit firm / hard for my preference , but still slept very well

The accommodation is located a 10-minute walk from the center of Matala in a quiet and peaceful area. It also includes a parking lot. The apartment was very pleasant, with a friendly terrace. The staff is nice and very helpful. The breakfast was very good. I recommend the accommodation.

The location of the hotel is really good and the owner is very friendly, which creates very nice, family-like atmosphere in the hotel. Breakfast was very good :) the room was clean. We are very satisfied with our stay.

Very comfortable! Simply furnished with great beds. Plentiful, varied breakfast with a lot of choices. Great staff, very thoughtful. Wonderful pool and surrounding garden.

Great place to spend a couple of days in Matala, walking distance from the beach and nearby attractions, decent breakfast and very friendly staff! The pool is very nice after your swim at the beach!!
