Breakfast was amazing. This friendly hotel is family owned and the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. The location could not have been bettered, positioned across the road from the Atlantic Ocean. My original visit to Hendaye on a summer school vacation was 58 years ago and so this time my wife of almost 51 years accompanied me to re-visit the town with me so I could reminisce and show her the places I visited as an 11 year old. We had an amazing time too making new memories.

Sadly time has moved on for me and includes being inflicted with an arthritic spine. Should have done my homework - no lift, fortunately only one flight of stairs to negotiate!

The staff were terrific, helping us with our bags and explaining everything. We had a superior large room with a terrace view. The room was very large and the view fantastic. Extremely comfortable. Whilst there is no elevator there is only ground and first floor. We had arranged a garage so had somewhere to lock up the car but they also offer free off street parking (booking.com didn’t give us this option). We also had breakfast and it was plentiful. From our assessment this is at the quieter end of the beach, which is good. Only about 10 minutes away from the Hubub.

This family owned and run hotel has a fantastic friendly vibe, modern, well equipped rooms with great views over the beach and does excellent breakfasts. Car parking was also a bonus and if I could wish for one thing it would probably be an electric vehicle charging point - but that's being fussy as there are others in the town not far away. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Wonderful position overlooking the beach. Lovely family run hotel with very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast outside on the lawn overlooking the beach. Spotlessly clean with good sized bedrooms and modern bathrooms. On-site secure parking. A very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Friendly staff, free parking and a wonderful view. Great breakfast. Loved walking along the promenade outside the hotel which really is front line watching all the surfers. Found a great local restaurant too from the hotel’s recommendation. Visited the local chateau too. Great stopover on our travels and could happily spend a week here.

We decided not to have breakfast, used coffee bar across road on seafront. Room with balcony which was nice and quiet with garden view. Lovely boat trip across to Honarribia which took less than 5 minutes and cost only 2 euro 50.

Lovely old hotel in the style of all the buildings on the beach in Hendaye. We paid extra for ocean view with terrace and it was lovely. Nice breakfast. Short walk into town and owner gave us good restaurant rexommendaftikns.

I’m fussy but the coffee was not great.

Excellent location right opposite the beach. Room had great views of the beach. Easy secure parking onsite. Young man who checked us in was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the sights to see, recommended restaurants and things to do and spoke excellent English. We had a great stay.

Great location, quiet, parking for the car always a plus. You pick your breakfast, it will be served as requested 👍

Not exactly designed for handicapped people but nothing else in town really works for wheelchair anyway.

The room was excellent, spacious and with a balcony overlooking the fabulous beach. The breakfast was, for me, perfect. All fresh with plenty of choice.
