Low key but very comfortable resort, we got upgraded to the Lumbung Suite which we were initially disappointed by, as we had chosen the features of the simpler room on purpose (for airflow and outside bathroom), but it ended up working out very well for us as we came down with 'Bali belly' and the separate daybed became our key location for 3 days. Excellent sustainability efforts - refilled toiletries in the bathroom, water coolers throughout the resort, if you don't put the towels out to be changed they actually don't change them, unlike many other places. Reasonably priced activities on offer (massage, snorkeling).

Breakfast was pretty uninspiring compared with most cheaper places we stayed - stodgy cold pancakes, small selection of store-bought pastries. Layout of the Lumbung Suite with the bed upstairs in the section with no windows means that it gets hot - have to sleep with the fan/Aircon on.

The staff were exceptional, bed comfortable, infinity pool lovely. Despite resort prices being about 3 times ordinary Bali prices the Facial I had at the spa was to die for & the buildings and grounds are kept immaculate. Loved my window seat view in Kura Kura room. Fresh fruit supplied in room was a nice touch. Breakfasts huge.

A little too isolated for me, I prefer to be able to take a stroll to take advantage of local shops, beauty salons, pharmacy & restaurants, also spreading the money around. Cost $15 to go 5 mins away by resort shuttle including return. $50 to to 20 mins to Pemuteran ($30 with local driver. No Grab or Gojek transport available there. A mini fridge would have been useful & aircon that could be adjusted.

Lovely resort in a very beautiful area of Bali. We had a problem with our room when checking in but the Manager on duty, Pita, sorted that out very quickly. We had a Kura Kura room overlooking the bay. Beautiful infinity pool. The staff were all friendly and organised a kayak rental for us which we thoroughly enjoyed out on the bay. The restaurant served a nice variety of very tasty dishes and drinks. It's isolated out there in the National Park but very relaxing and excellent for nature exploring in and out of the water.

We stayed at Naya Gawana for a week with members of our party in a Mangrove Suite, Lumbung Suite and a Kura Kura room. The accommodation was perfect and really suited us. Staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to do everything they could to ensure our holiday was perfect. The Manager touched base with us most days for a chat and to check all was ok. The food was great with a very varied menu. The diving team were excellent and we felt very reassured that we were in very safe hands. There was lots of space and accommodation was spread out. Having a pool table proved good entertainment for the younger members of our party.

It was not an issue for us but Naya Gawana maybe a bit too isolated for some. Though transport to other places and very varied day and half day trips to places of interest and for activities can easily be arranged through the reception team.

This hotel is truly 10/10. It was the best stay I had throughout my Bali journey. The staff are so lovely and professional, the location is mesmerizing with the sea view and the infinity pool as well as the view of the mountains. It was really magical staying there and I could feel the calmness and serenity of the place. It is also an outstanding starting point for snorkeling at Menjangan island. Truly amazing experience that is a must in North Bali ❤️

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The room was very clean and well-equipped. They even gave mosquito repellent cream in the room. The outdoor bathroom with a private garden was a plus! We were also very impressed by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. We had issues with the internet on the first day, but one of the staff members (we didn't catch his name, unfortunately) helped talk to the internet provider and it was resolved by that night. Once we ordered from the restaurant a chocolate milkshake that was bland, but after we raised it to one of the restaurant staff, they made a fresh and tastier one for us right away.

Honestly, we had higher expectations for the breakfast given the price we paid. The pancakes and waffles were mostly cold and stale since they were made ahead of time. The warm food like fried rice and fried noodles was also cold as it wasn't sufficiently heated during the breakfast service. Not a necessity, but it would've been nice to have a razor in the toiletries kit :) And just to add a note - there is no "beachfront" where you can sit by the beach and get into the water. But there's a nice pool that overlooks the bay.

I loved my stay; I mainly went scuba diving from Talumben, and diving is far better.

Nothing

A nice hotel in a quiet part of Bali; very different from Ubud and the beaches in the south. The hotel has an absolutely magnificent swimming pool; large, with great views of the sea and mountains. We went on a lovely snorkeling trip. The hotel room, bed and outdoor shower were comfortable. We saw many monkeys close to the hotel.

The restaurants was okay, but nothing special. The nearby town has some very good and extremely cheap restaurants. Dapoer Chandra is close to the resort and serves excellent Indonesia food!

the resort is a gem! The location is so beautiful! I thought we would miss the beachfront, but we didn't. The pool, jacuzzi and all hotel areas are so beautifully and thoughtfully built to be comfortable that we didn't miss a thing. We stayed in the KK rooms and they were very comfortable and with beautiful views. We had a bay view and a mangrove view, equally stunning. The staff was very friendly too. The area has a lot more to explore than it seems. We did a snorkelling tour (and took our 6 year old and 3 year old) and it was so stunning. I wish we had done more snorkeling and diving while there.

The food at the restaurant was good but some days were much better than others. The food prices were also a bit expensive but it might be the price of being secluded from the rest of Bali.

We had a private villa overlooking the bay/inlet. It was private and comfortable with and exceptionally charming outdoor bathrooms nd shower. We took advantage of other services and facilities (spa for massages and the dive shop for a snorkel tour) and were extremely satisfied with staff and services. I'm very tough to satisfy on food, so I will say their food was very good, but not exceptional. Loved the staff.

We could not stay connected to their internet portal, which was quite frustrating. None of our devices could reliably access the internet, though service was better at the restaurant than in our cabin.
