This a basic motel, but appeared to have been recently updated. Far from fancy, but quite serviceable and clean. It shares a small parking lot with the Best Western and that is where you check in. There is a huge parking lot in the back. Bed was pretty comfortable tho the pillows were pretty thin; still, they were better than the big fat ones some places have that give me a neck ache. No breakfast is available tho they let me get coffee/tea at the Best Western in the morning. I don't care about the breakfast as I am gluten free and can't eat it usually anyway.

Pillows are key to a good sleep and having a couple of different thicknesses is nice. Two per person. Fridge in the room was nice but it didn't have a freezer compartment so I couldn't freeze my cooler ice pack for the next day.

This was just simply a stop in and sleep stay for us. We checked in at 3, went to Hersheypark til 10pm, grabbed a pizza to take back to the room. We showered and slept and left the next morning to move on to our next destination. We did not eat breakfast because it was an additional $7/person. It was a decent place for the price and clean but if you’re expecting rich and fancy then move on. I’d stay here again just for a shower and to sleep but I probably wouldn’t spend more than a night or 2.

A continental breakfast would have been nice. Maybe some better, more firm beds. But not a terrible place to stay for one night.

The hotel was close to our destination and was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. After checking out, i thought i left something in the room, and the desk clerk was willing to let me check the room for the misplaced item. I ended up finding it before reaching the hotel. L

Just a caution: Red Roof and Best Western share property, so be careful when looking for it. I passed the hotel, not realizing that there were 2 hotels. Also, Red Roof shares the Best Western lobby, so go there to check in. It's not really a dislike, more of an FYI. The "worst" was that our tv remote did not seem to work, but we were onlt staying the night, so not a big deal.

It’s just a red roof in but it was clean and bright and the AC worked and it was safe with kids playing outside and a long grassy area to walk dogs. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were great. The night clerk helped us unlock our door (we’re a little stupid) and the day clerk helped us get our library book (which we left in the room-stupid again) mailed to us.

Nothing really. It checked all the boxes.

Don’t let the outer appearance fool you! It may look more motel-ish or like apartments even, but our stay was great! Very close to Hershey Park but far enough away from any traffic. You check in at the Best Western across the lot and that process was quick and easy. We loved being able to park right in front of our door. The staff was accommodating too. We were originally supposed to be on the 2nd floor (no elevator) but my husband has a knee issue and with our luggage, that would have been too much — the staff easily put us in a first floor room, no problem— which we greatly appreciated! Finally — we saved over $150 by staying here and we absolutely do not regret it! Highly recommend!

While the rooms looked and felt great — I think the outside could use a little sprucing up— just to make the outside match the inside! But that, in no way, would impact us staying here again — just a little suggestion.

Friendly staff and the cleanliness of the room. Quiet and safe.

No assigned parking when it's crowded it's hard to get a space in front of your room for unloading and loading.

Clean and comfortable

It’s low budget so it looks a little sketchy and does not come with any amenities like a pool or breakfast, but you know what you’re getting when you decide to stay here. Shower pressure was mediocre.

This hotel was 10 min drive from Hershey park. Plenty of Parking spots that are close to the room. Clean room. pleasant staff. The lobby at Red Roof is closed and we had to use the lobby at best Western but that was not a problem for me because there was free coffee and tea offered at Best Western lobby.

The second floor hallway felt a bit creepy at night I didn't feel safe walking alone. There are cameras everywhere though.

hot water from sink was non existent. had to get hot water from tub. refrigerator didn't seem cold enough at times. no elevator to second floor but wasn't terrible bc it was a short walk up stairs.

This is a unique property. There is a new Best Western across the parking lot as part of teh same complex. The Red Roof was remodeled at the same time as the Best Western was built. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The lighting was excellent.
