The room had a view on the Crusader's castle. The staff was available to help, kind, with humor and curiosity. They also did help to find a taxi back to Beirut for $ 15 instead of the $ 30 demanded by a driver I took to go to Jbeil. This guy, named Paul, was a bit too much: he exacted $ 25 to go to Jbeil while the current normal rate is $ 10, and he even boasted to be the cousin of the hotel's owner. L'Abeille d'Or, a shop on the same street, sells delicious Lebanese sweets, ;ast but not least the knefa (kunefe).

The hotel is located very close to the main road to Beirut, but Jbeil/Byblos is a small city so you can walk your way around. There are several banks close by where you can withdraw USD (I used BLF and Blom Bank), as well as a Western Union where you can exchange money.

Breakfast was basic. Parking is limited (only 3-4 places), but I think I was the only one with a car. It could be more complicated in high season. Given the liquidity crisis in Lebanon, you have to pay in cash.

Shower water pressure, fully equipped and spacious toilet, somehow spacious, variety for breakfast.

The absence of kettle, water bottles and coffee. Not a big deal since the area is full of shops.

1. Location: Right on the costal highway. Many cafes, restaurants around. 7 minutes walk to the old town. 2 Staff: very helpful and friendly. 3. Room: we booked a suite, and it is spacious and huge. 4. Breakfast gets enough variety of choices.

1. Lack of some basic facilities and toiletries, like shampoo, kettle. 2. The room is very dim.

The hotel location was great.. near byblos touristic sites.. and easy to reach. the room was so clean and spacious.

The breakfast could be better with more varieties.

Highly recommended! Very good location, comfortable beds, clean rooms, very nice staff! And breakfast is a plus, mainly homemade and delicious. We will surely come back again!

The room is clean and cozy, the 24/7 reception is very practical and especially the staff is kind and helpful. Also, the breakfast provided is of high quality.

Breakfast was mediocre, no water or tea making facilities in room

Supply shower gel, shampoo and perhaps body lotion, nothing supplied only a supply of body wash in a dispenser on wall above bath/shower.

The hotel is very central and not hard to find. The neighbourhood is perfect for exploring Beirut. The staff was accommodating when we had questions and the room size was bigger than expected.

The breakfast was good but a bit basic, it wasn't clear that some things were not included.

great location and surprisingly quiet for being so close to the highway. we didn’t hear any traffic noise at all. room was spacious and very clean. breakfast on the balcony was a great way to start the day.

WiFi connection was a problem but I think this was an issue throughout the country and not the fault of the hotel.
