Comfy tunnel style bunks providing excellent privacy, with curtains, a small light and power point. Nice clean pillow, bedding and linen. The bathrooms are modern and clean, really nice. The rooms have good ventilation, windows and air condition units. Restaurant was lovely and staff were super helpful and kind. Great location if you don't mind a small hill, about 1km to the magnificent Horse Fountain.

The kitchen and fridge need cleaning more carefully / often. The sinks are often blocked and the fridge is very smelly. Also be aware many of the lockers don't actually lock or are easy to tamper with, this would be an easy fix for the hostel and make a huge difference to people's sense of security.

The staff are very nice. And fine service. In fact, I liked the stay very much because of the staff who work in the restaurant

The staff were lovely, the whole place was clean, the wi-fi was good, and I appreciated the curtains around the beds which I've only seen in Asia before. There was a socket by the bed and enough room to store my backpack beside it. I was in Lyon for a concert and it was easy to take the metro then a tram to the LDLC Arena. The hostel staff offered to print out my ticket, which was nice. Also easy to get there from the airport. If you want to avoid climbing the hill every time you go back to the hostel, take the metro to Croix-Rousse and walk downhill from there. There's a nice view over Lyon on the way.

Simple rooms with mordern aesthetic, all the necessary things supplied (like shampoo, shower gel, handwash, towels...). The bar-restaurant was very nice, and the food and drinks quite tasty. The location is good as there are a lot of bars, cafes, restaurants around and it's a nice walk to the city centre. The metro and bus stop is also nearby. The staff was friendly and cheerful. Although I didn't use it, it was nice to know there was a kitchen and laundry room available.

There is nothing I didn't like as such. I would appreciate a kettle and/or a coffee machine in the room. I think it's also worth keeping in mind that the way to the hotel is quite uphill, which might be an issue for people with limited mobility.

It's not a dislike - bed was comfortable - you need to be a bit flexible to crawl in - but it was comfortable and a good night's sleep It's uphill and a bit of a walk from the train/bus stations BUT I got to explore parts of Lyon I might not have otherwise bothered with - sometimes the cute back streets are the most instagrammable and best vibes - away from the international stores of every European city 🤷 Notre dame is a must see

The bed was very comfortable, location was good, nice atmosphere with lots of people at the bar/restaurant every day/night.

There was a very bothersome and high pitched noise in the room coming from the pipes from the ventilation system - the system is on the ceiling of the room. We asked the staff several times to completely turn the ventilation/heating of our room off, because we would rather be cold than listen to the noise. And they did turn it off, but it didn’t get any better. The staff (I think her name was Elaine?) was very nice and helpful and took us to see several different rooms but they all had the same problem and noise so there was nothing anyone could do about it. If you are sensitive to noise and need silence to rest well, I wouldn’t recommend.

Do research of the way to the place, as I had some problem to find it. I have called the reception. Reception couldn't direct me to the hostel. Even I have given the name of the street where I was. Still he was not capable to direct me. Thanks to the people on the street who directed me towards the place. When I have arrived to the hostel with help of people. I have asked the receptionist, he replied that it was not him. Although I feel that it was the person I have spoken on the phone. Even with Google map it was not easy to find it. Good luck!

Receptionist was a bit not hospitable.

It's close to the mural, city hall, and art museum, about a ten-minute walk. This time, I stayed in a room with 16 people. The curtains offer good privacy, and there are two bathrooms, which are more than enough. The environment is clean, and there's a large locker where you can store your luggage (just remember to bring a lock). The room doesn't have a hairdryer, but you can borrow one at the front desk. However, since it's a shared room, the noise from roommates opening and closing doors, lockers, and walking up and down the stairs in the morning or late at night can be quite loud, making it hard not to be disturbed.

The overall experience was okay, but the biggest inconvenience is probably the location. The slope makes it difficult for travelers with large luggage. There's no subway nearby, although there are buses that go there, but you may need to transfer twice to get to the city center. You can factor in the cost of accommodation along with a transportation day pass. I suggest the accommodation provider clean the "walls of the bed areas" when they have the time, as they don't seem to be cleaned often and appear sticky.

I enjoyed the wonderful associates (staff members/ employees). Their endeavors enhance the service qualities for the visitors, as well as for me. In fact, they help me with WiFi uses. I greatly appreciate them for helping the visitors (who book the nights to stay there) to procure essential services. Helping them to print key documents from WiFi and accommodating the needs of current young adult families with young children (under 10 years-old) comprise some of these key services. We appreciate your special evening gathering events. Some of your associates (employees/ staff members) procured wonderful cocktail drinks (such as rums). I thank them for those worthwhile services, which many visitors and I gladly paid for them. I thank you all for Free Breakfast included, on behalf of visitors (who book to stay at your site for several consecutive nights).

Lyon comprises of a wonderful urban site. With so much sprawling throughout the metropolis, as well as adjacent areas (such as Villeurbane), having wonderful printed maps (which are sufficiently detailed, but facile for most visitors to follow) would be great. You have limited supplies of those. Hopefully, you have more of them. However convenient the Internet services are, those Internet systems run into issues. Visitors from Britain, United States and East Asia often have only domestic services, necessitating them to use the WiFi at hostel. Elsewhere, the WiFi usually run into issues. Thus, having printed copies of maps of Lyon would be great.

Location is a bit uphill walk. The hotel was no-fuss and do not expect luxury treatment of guests. There are shared rooms, but you cannot see what the other person does, privacy is not hampered. Better not to speak over phone in the cubicles since it disturbs others. The hostel has kitchen on the first floor wherein some basic utensils, microwave, fridge are there, and some eatables maybe available free. Bath is flawless but they do not provide any toilet kits or towels.

It's fine with the budget provided.
