Don't let the outside of the facility scare you it is just a long center block building with about eight doors but once you open up the door to your room you'll be very surprised it's quite nice especially for an overnight stay like we did on our way to Florida. The bed was comfortable in the rooms stay cool and it was a good location in Daytona Beach close enough to restaurants and right across the street from the beach.

Nothing as I said this was a great place for an overnight stay

As a single female traveler, I felt very safe. The room was clean and smelled amazing. Comfiest bed I have ever slept on. I have horrifyingly bad insomnia. This was the first full night of sleep I've had in 8 months! The room was so so so cute! Great bathroom with step in shower. I can't wait to go back. There's a small park with beach access. Took me about a minute to drive there.

I had never used a lock box before. So it took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out how to get the key out. The room was the perfect size just for me. However, it is tiny. I couldn't imagine sharing it with another person. There's no table so if you decide to eat in your room, you'll be eating on the bed or floor which was perfectly fine with me.

The hotel is one of the classic, family run properties that was common in the 1960's and 1970s. However, unlike other run-down properties in Daytona Beach, this one has been renovated, modernized, and is truly an immaculate property. Our room was quiet, private, and literally steps from the beach. The location could not be better too, as there literally a boardwalk to the beach immediately across the street from the property. The owner Melisa was the epitome of professional and accommodating. The property was clean, and the owners even went to great lengths to make sure the off-street portions of the property received regular upkeep and maintenance. The bed was even amazing. Cannot say enough great things about this property. Note, we also travel for surfing, and never once worried about the safety of our gear while on this property.

All as described. Very clean and comfortable, and very good value for money.

The fact that we got lucky by just catching house keeper before she left the premises. She said she could not send a reply to my text message regarding code for lock on the room door as we have an international phone number( we are from U.K) . Not sure what would have happened had we missed her. I suggested she use What's App to be in contact with guests to send lock box code in future if she cannot text message guests international guests..

This is a hidden gem, it looks basic on the outside but is so clean and cozy in the rooms. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home. Close enough to everything you need but away enough to give you peace and quiet to sleep after a long day of adventures. We would stay again on our next trip. Hot showers, clean rooms, responsive staff via text, fridge, coffee pot and hairdryer in rooms.

No complaints

It was close to the water and super quiet! We literally walked across the street and the ocean was right there. Bed was clean, ac blew cold, and the bathroom was clean and stocked with towels. We had our door lock have low battery so we contacted the maintenance and she came within 20 minutes to open the door and it was like 10 at night. I would stay here again!

The staff was exceptionally friendly! The room was very, very clean! Booked a few weeks ahead and it was a good price!

The room was small, but everything worked well, tv, air, shower, frig, microwave and hair dryer. Great room for the price and the owner came into the office early the next morning to make coffee available to me.

We were a bit wary of the commentaries about the smoking problem. I have no idea what they are referring to with "zero tolerance" and "false and defamatory" comments. It's fair to say during our stay that there were ashtrays outside the door of each room. There were people in two rooms (one next door to us, and one next door to the office) smoking outside. Perhaps there's been a change of management but al the same, such commentary in the reviews does not reflect the quality of management during our stay. With that out of the way, it's a very nice little motel. We thought it served our purposes well. It's within a good 15 minute walking distance of nearby restaurants, and right across the road from the beach. We certainly would be glad to stay here again for one or two nights.

It's an older motel so space is at a premium. Perhaps the entertainment center (for a lack of a better term) could be less wider to create a wider sense of space. Otherwise, it was sufficient for one night.

Clean and the location. Bed was very comfortable. Like that you could park right outside your room. Will definitely stay there again if I'm back down that way. Price was really good also.

Needs night stand on both sides of bed. Could not get internet to connect. My husband and I both wear glasses and have cell phones, plus like to have something to drink so two night stands would be nice.

Very private, kitchen was wonderful Nice area, walking to the beach was okay But crossing the busy street was scary I would stay there again.

No pool. But really where could you put One? Me and my husband enjoyed our Stay for my 80th birthday
