I was real hesitant about booking and something happening not getting my $ back cause it's a done deal. But I guess that's with everything. When we walked in it was so clean. The kitchen exceptional. Not alot to cook with but I take my own pot n pan . No problem. Bed was so comfortable I'm now jealous of my expensive adjustable bed. We had down stairs where you walk out your door and can walk right out onto the beach. This place is a small mom n pop motel and those are the ones I love ! Thank you sand castle

The only thing was the pool steps was very slick and could be a little cleaner but it was a great swim.

I loved this little motel! Pleasantly impressed by how quiet at night, (except for the sounds of the ocean) which is why I was here, to be near the ocean ♥️. My room was small but perfect, very comfortable bed with comfortable, just right pillows. It's not as 'insulated' as say, a hotel, but I'm older and I like quiet, and it was quiet here with most other guests older. Fantastic! I often travel alone and I felt safe sitting outside at night watching and listening to the ocean. Staff was super, I believe her name was Tiffany who called me personally with a detail. For the price, the location, the cleanliness, the all around quiet - Sand Castle is outstanding. My favorite seashell now♥️♥️

I did have to get my own coffee for the morning, there is a coffee pot, a regular size with filters, I think many of the guests stay for extended periods of time. That says a lot about a place!! Convenience store a short walk.

I loved the pool and the access to the beach!! The location was amazing!!! The bathroom was so up to date!! And the room was clean :) we had a phenomenal time! They had an amazing conversation area upstairs , which overlooks the beach, and they have shuffle board!!

The only thing we didn’t like was the door did not lock with the chain, the chain was there but no where to latch it ,but everything else was amazing!!

The location was wonderful as it wasn't crammed where the heavy tourist areas are. The room was amazing with a perfect view of the Atlantic. The pool was heated and actually had a deep end at 9' so my boys were thrilled.

Only complaint I had was more of my fault but the stairs at the end of the motel that led to our room were very slick when your feet were wet. There was rain one day as well as wet feet from the pool and I slipped and fell down the stairs.

That it is affordable and right on the beach. They seem to be remodeling. Lots of new tiling for floor and shower. That was very nice.

Dirty dishes left in the sink. The security chain for inside the door was broke. Sliding glass door needed cleaned and the chairs on the balcony needed cleaned. One of the comfort chairs looking out to the balcony and the pillow needed cleaned.

Location, friendly staff and beach access. The facility is older but is clean and comfortable. We didn’t need a kitchen but was there if we did. The hotel had a pool party Saturday night for their guests. Was surprised but was a nice touch. There are grills and shuffle board. It’s a good value.

We can’t add anything here because the property gave us what we needed. A nice bed, clean linens and a safe nights rest.

Location is great. Walkable to anything you need. Bring some snacks and drinks and you never have to get in your car for anything! Many restaurants nearby and the pool and ocean are right outside your door!

Parking is tight, but it is an older motel that has had a few updates.

The location was great, right on the beach. We only stayed overnight, but enjoyed a beautiful sunrise right from our room. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean.

I was unclear about the deposit and payed it in cash. However, we checked out early before the office opened. I had to call later on to have the deposit mailed back to my home. Any future visits and I will put the deposit on my credit card to avoid this issue as I usually check out early.

Comfortable bed and the kitchenette was nice.

Tv did not work. And the dishes and cookware provided was very limited. No actual drinking class. And everything was mismatching. One very inexpensive small skillet. Silverware mismatched and one left in the sink dirty. Carafe for coffee maker stained or dirty.

We had a great stay! The room was spacious, beds comfortable, and staff very kind and helpful. Location was good and the views of the ocean were fantastic. A very nice budget friendly option. We would definitely consider another stay here!

Overall, the exterior of the property could use a little maintenance- but considering the recent hurricane it was understandable and did not negatively impact our stay. The kitchen is not very well stocked and we weren't really expecting it to be- we were however grateful for what was available and VERY happy to have the kitchen area.
