As much as I love all of the staff, those VALETS ARE EXCEPTIONAL!!! I hope everyone sees how hard those guys work.(especially during event weeks, checking in and out times)

I hate there is no coffee downstairs before 630. I notice "earlybirds" like myself that would enjoy some coffee while waiting for sunrise. We hate to disturb our partners and spouses making coffee in room if they are sleeping in. We would be willing to buy. The Starbucks opens at 630 which usually includes a line. Sunrises are 7ish which at times makes it difficult to see...depending on where you are in line.

Location was great. Staff was courteous and professional. You can sit at pool and feel like You're at the beach. Property was clean and well maintained. Felt safe and comfortable the entire time. It was great and would highly recommend. Also an onsite restaurant that was decent. Wife visited spa for a massage. Loved it!

Bathroom had issues. Bad design on shower that would flood the floor unless you put a towel on the threshold of the shower. Also, fancy bowl sink not big enough and splattered water everywhere. But the overall good out weighed these issues.

We had the corner terrace room with lots of windows & patio doors and found it very relaxing to go out on the patio whenever we wanted. It was safe, somewhat private, and the view!!!! Our breakfast room service was perfect in every way! The food was timely, hot, and presented precisely in very nice containers, so as to keep our food warm. Everything about this resort was clean & friendly! The beach was kept clean and it was nice to walk on each day.

The prices of the food in your restaurants seemed pricey, but everything was delicious.

This is our second time visiting this resort. The location is great. Due to tourist season being over, there weren't many people on the beach, which was fine with us. Would have liked to see more sun, but no one has control over the weather 😊

Think the room rates were on the high side. You also have to pay for self parking, which is ridiculous considering the room rates. Additionally, the room descriptive was misleading. Was under the impression we were reserving an ocean front room. When we presented to the hotel, they advised us it was an ocean front coastal view. Ended up paying an additional $150 for a real ocean front. Please be aware of this!

We love the Shores Resort and have returned many times. We like the beach, pool, beds, fire pit, and the lobby. The restaurant is good too. Staff is always friendly! We loved the art sand class, wonderful and the petting zoo! Thank you for a wonderful Easter Weekend! We ill be back soon!

Maid did not refill the coffee in our room when she cleaned up. I called the front desk at 6 am on Easter morning and asked for someone to bring it up or I could pick it up. She said she would and we never received it.

Staff is so courteous, friendly, and welcoming! The bellman greet you right away and helpful. They brought over a luggage rack and unloaded our luggage and placed it on the cart. Dylan is so cheerful and welcoming. He also remembered us from the prior visits! The Hotel is spacious and has a tremendous atmosphere about it. The rooms are always so clean and the view on our balcony was beautiful. Our waitress McKayla was really attentive and friendly. We will go back again and highly recommend this hotel

One issue we did have was on Friday night they had a big event and attendees were arriving as we were leaving to go to an appointment we had, meeting others at a restaurant. The valet parking was set up for two rows of cars at the event to move cars arriving for the event. They did get us our car but pulled in behind the line of cars waiting to be parked and we had to wait quite awhile to get out of the driveway. Finally one of the valets stopped cars from pulling up in one of the lines to let us out. It was quite frustrating. We ended up being late for our dinner appointment. Maybe they need to come up with a different parking scheme for those that are guests and are leaving the hotel during the event.

The staff was attentive and professional and were always available with a smile! It was very refreshing. Check-in and check-out we're expedient, and every staff member I passed by spoke to me. The food was wonderful and plentiful from breakfast to supper.

One elevator was inoperable and caused delays with our group due to having to wait for several minutes. The only other issue was extended waits at the front doors due to loading and unloading. The valets were quick retrieving vehicles, but there was no direction for self park drivers to keep the lines moving. I do suggest more drawer space in the rooms.

Accommodations were comfortable. Loved the makeup desk in bathroom!! Pool area was good and fire tables were a plus if you could get at one.

Cocktails were expensive for what you received!! Could not understand why you couldn’t have a smoking area on that huge back area and we were instructed to go on the beach. Doesn’t seem reasonable way to keep beach clean. Everything was expensive on top of room rate. Didn’t even go in to the bar due to the prices at the tiki. Very disappointing.

The hotel is grand and the room is spacious, clean and the ocean view is gorgeous. you can see the sunrise and the beauty of the ocean.

I had an unpleasant situation the first night, I reserved the room with two beds, when we approached they accommodated us in the room with the sofa, on which we slept very badly, it is of poor quality. To our displeasure, they said that they have no other rooms available and will only move us to another room starting the next day. The staff did not take into account the inconvenience created and did not offer us any refund.

Nice size room, comfortable bed leading to cabana/pool area. Breakfast on property was excellent. Loved that they had fire pits and (free) smores kits to enjoy in the evenings. Staff was always very kind and helpful. Clean beach and we walked next door to Top of Daytona for dinner. AMAZING views and lovely dinner.

The cabana area had little cocoons all over the walls. Didn't actually see any insects (hatched) but feel that could have been addressed prior to arrival. You pay quite a bit more for the cabana and insects like that should never be an issue. (flip side, if cleaned it is a wonderful area equipped with a tv and fan. In just a few steps you are at the pool so you have great access to room to relax) I am pretty confident if I called the front desk, they would have addressed the issue. However, it did take away from the room.
