I liked that it was right on the beach. The sunrises were spectacular! The pool was well kept and the room was comfortable. It not very close to quality restaurants, but I am accustomed to 10-15 minute drives to eat when I am at the beach. This is a small, budget-style building that has had upgrades to make it more luxurious.

The food and drink was too expensive. One BLT/fries, daiquiri, and Carina was $50. I did not like that they charged for parking ($13.85 per night). The lot is the same set up as any budget hotel. As far as I can tell, there is no upgrade in service to warrant charging the nightly fee. The room price is fair for the hotel and for the patron. Do you need to roll in the extra charge for parking too? The restaurant has the misfortune to be situated in the main thoroughfare to get out to the pool and beach. Lots of traffic through the restaurant, which has to be bad on the dining experience.

Room was comfortable and clean, microwave was also a plus. Right on the beach, pool and jacuzzi were great.

Room was way too close to the ice machine. Got charged at checkout for another guest making a charge to my room, but was corrected by the front desk, just waiting for payments to post for confirmation.

I didn't like having to pay for parking. Could have been included in rooming. Also didn't like having to pay an additional $50 per night incidentals up front. Only used $3 of it. Had to wait for reimbursement.

Cleanliness and comfort

The pool deck was supposed to have a splash pad for the kids according to the we side but there was not one. Also the pool bar closes too early and there’s no music in the pool area and no tvs on outside either by the sitting area.

The location is perfect, and the ocean view from the room was great. The area around the pool and the restaurant is well kept and attractive. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly.

Parking was sufficient, but not a lot of room to maneuver.

This hotel was very clean inside and outside, my room was very spacious and when I tell you clean, it was clean, I balcony was on the side of the hotel, but still had a nice view of the ocean along with a breeze.

The apperance of the hotel on the outside and inside, my room spacious of it, the view from my room of the ocean, decent gym, wish it was bigger with more equipment, because I like working out and loved this hotel sits right on the beach, where I went running and walking in the morning.

I love Marriott hotels and this one joined my list as one of my favorites. The property was very clean and the bed was super comfortable as Marriott beds always are. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful and they granted my wish of a floor high up. The oceanfront views from the 7th floor were spectacular and we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. I fell in love with the shower as well.

When I first read the reviews before my stay I kept reading that the elevators were small and slow and that parking was bad due to not enough and small parking spots. I do agree that the elevators are small and a tad slow, but nothing that ruined our stay. Parking was fine for us but it could be because the hotel wasn’t overly busy when we stayed. The pool wasn’t heated, but I still enjoyed the pool ambiance. Our toilet did make a loud sound when flushed but not enough to make us want to leave. In fact we can’t wait to go back. We live in St Augustine so we aren’t far from the hotel.

Comfy room with great shower. Excellent dinner in the bar with great service from Paige.

Room noisy because of adjoining room, there seems to be no sound insulation. Ask for a non adjoining room. Lifts very slow and small, not enough of them.

Loved everything about the hotel excluding the elevators. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff were extremely polite. I was obsessed with the shower in the room! The beach access is currently closed but the walk to the beach is super short, I walked there every day, and the balcony was plus! Loved it.

Elevators are soo small and so are the carts for the luggage.
