Very clean, full kitchen with cookware and washer/dryer in room. Spacious with large balcony. The building is close to the Daytona boardwalk attractions but just far enough away from the loud, busy and hectic crowds/traffic. Beachfront access to relax or stay cool in the game room on the top level with spectacular views of Daytona Beach. The insanely large floor to ceiling windows are unlike anything I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The outside bar on the first floor was a vibe with the friendly staff. The rooftop terrace with glass railings and Adirondack chairs was an experience. I’m not one to hop on a treadmill while on vacation. But I had to this time because the gym is on the top level with those floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach and downtown Daytona. I highly recommend and will be back to the Max.

The carpet ocean surf pattern in the bedrooms. Very clean carpet, just don’t drop anything because the pattern makes it difficult to find. Lol

I really liked this place! Our apartment was super beautiful and clean - well designed and the aesthetics to my taste. I enjoyed my swim in this pool and my workout in the gym (the best I've seen in hotels). I liked that breakfast is not included in the price - you can prepare it yourself (good grocery store nearby). We enjoyed with the whole family!!

The organ had been gone for some time, but the stairs leading to the beach were still unrepaired and unfortunately closed. We had to go from the street to the beach in a big circle. It didn't dampen our spirits and we tried to be understanding.

We loved just about everything. The spacious rooms, full kitchen,washer and dryer was a real big plus. Wrist bans, so you don't have to keep up with a key. Easy check in and check out. Great pool and hot tub. Access to the beach. The best beach views are on the north side rooms. The rooms are very well soundproof. When all doors are closed, we hardly heard much outside noise. The balconies are awesome. They are larger than most with great views. Friendly and helpful staff. A young lady by the name of Justice was our favorite. We had 2 children ages 6 and 10. They loved it and had a great time. It's just an all-around great place to stay. We will stay again when in the area.

There wasn't much we didn't like: The breakfast was a little lacking for the price. Drinks were a little expensive at the bar. Parking was a little tight for our truck. The pool, hot tub, and gym all close at 10. Would like for them to be opened a little later because we are night owls. None of these would keep us from returning. We loved it overall.

The location was amazing, with a great side view of the beach. The apartment was outstanding and very clean, and had everything that we could possibly need in it. Parking was super easy too, and the facilities were wonderful.

The main road that the hotel is on was very noisy - both day and night. This is just one of those things and every single hotel along Daytona Beach Shores will be affected by this. It didn't impact my enjoyment staying here though, but it would be helpful to take some ear plugs just in case you're a light sleeper.

This resort was simply amazing. Was super surprised when we arrived to see that the pictures were accurate online. So much to keep the kids busy and the views omg. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our weeklong stay. Not sure if will ever go back to Daytona but if we do...we know where will be staying. I would definitely send my clients, family, and friends to Max Resort.

Nothing at all. I found no issues with our stay. We were sad to go but made many memories while we were there. Our favorite part was the gaming lounge on the top floor. The Sunset deck was beautiful. Why not build other properties in other destinations? We would definitely visit them!!!

Maxx Beach resort was an amazing stay for my family. It was spotless, and had everything we needed! The views from the room are breathtaking. We did not use the bar and restaurant very much, but when we did, it was always good, but a little expensive. The staff was extremely friendly and always accommodated us when we needed anything. We rented some cabanas for the day, but it ended up being bad weather, and they refunded our money. No problem. The first couple of days we stayed, the weather was a little chilly, but the sun was out. We took advantage of the sunrise and sunset decks on the 12th floor. There was not a lot of wind and there were plenty of comfortable chairs to get some sun and relax.

Quieter part of the beach (technically Daytona Beach Shores) Having a full kitchen allowed us to eat breakfast before venturing out for the day. It was convenient having laundry machines in our unit. I loved the view of the beach. Be aware there is no room service or house keeping. This was a new concept to us but I liked knowing that staff wouldn’t be entering my space.

My one critique is that the pool area is tiny. We fought for lounge chairs every day. People were setting out towels very early in the am. And a few guests ignored the no smoking or vaping signs

The Resort is in the perfect location for both city and ocean views. I highly recommend the aqua view because the ocean can be seen from every room. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a vacation. The staff were friendly. Room service orders were both accurate and efficient. The receptionist Nekoda displayed exceptional customer service skills. From the moment we arrived the receptionist made us feel like we were special guess. I wish all hotels displayed this type of customer service and professionalism. Originally we only intended to stay for one night but because Nekoda made us feel at home combined with the beautiful room and stunning view, we extended our stay three additional nights. The resort is so comfortable you don't want to leave.

The restaurant menu needs more options. The food is very good and the staff is awesome. I never waited more than 20 minutes from order time to room delivery. I would have liked to have more gourmet options though.

The facility was gorgeous, and the upper floor space was great for kids! The bands were convenient, as were the showers and pool. It was great! The security guard was extremely friendly and helped us feel at ease about being out on the beach at night and leaving our rental car in the parking garage.

It wasn't a huge deal, but we had to take our own trash out. Also, when we required items, we had to go to the front desk to pick them up.

The hotel by itself was very nice and modern, clean rooms and the pool was warm enough. Huge windows with the view, the top floor was amazing.

The food , unfortunately that part of this place needed improvement, we ordered breakfast and the fruits smelled onion, overall food didn’t taste good, and dinner outside wasn’t good. Unfortunately but nothing I like from their menu.
