From the time I checked in, the staff was very friendly. Once I got my room the room for what I paid it was really well worth it. The beds are really comfortable. Will definitely be staying there again.

There was no frozen drinks at the tiki bar, one of their machines were down the entire week. The HOA closed the indoor pool until farther notice. Which sucks because we did get sunburned and it would’ve been nice to swim inside for a day or two. If you got little kids, there are no drain covers on any drains. Which sucks because my kid lost a bouncy ball down the drain in the bathroom sink. Overall, this is just a little dislikes. This property was awesome.

Ocean front room had a gorgeous view with balcony to sit and relax on Pools were clean and accessible tiki bar a huge plus facility was clean staff was amazing and very attentive

Beds in the one bedroom sleep were not so comfortable also were suppose to be queen size more like a full size could barely fit my husband and i on the bed and bed frame was metal and completely outdated and squeaked everytime u moved waking others up sofa bed was sunk in very thin mattress the room we have needs a few upgrades as well when we used the stove top it took hours for it to cool down had tinfoil all over it and was popping out rust stains on fridge and the vents

Location was excellent right on the beach , staff was very attentive to our needs , allowed us to check in early at 3 am for just adding one day rate and additionally upgraded the room to ocean view room for no additional charge . Provided the kids a room key when they accidentally locked themselves out , and rekeyed my key when I accidentally erased it with my phone , cheerfully and politely. One staff member Gave us very useful and necessary information about a turtle pet the kids had bought that the shop didn’t tell them when they sold it to them ( how to keep it healthy and alive ). I definitely recommend this place to friends and family as well as anyone looking to stay in Daytona beach

I can not think of a single thing that could have been better

I love the location of this property on the beach. The room was huge and there was plenty of room for our entire family. I also liked the location of our room.

For this to be a “family friendly” place, there was a lot of drinking and “loud” adults around the pool. We were planning to get something from the Tiki Bar but they said that they weren’t open. It still looked like they were serving certain people when we walked by later. We also had dirty sheets on all of the beds in the room. The trundle bed sheets and mattresses were extremely disgusting and weren’t usable.

My family and I have been coming to the Hawaiian inn for over 20 years now we always love that coming out there I've watched my kids grow up in your hotel and my daughter has been coming there since she was a baby and she just turned 18 years old and our last visit our recent t visit my son wanted to stay at your hotel for his birthday which he just turned 11 thank you so much and your Manager she is amazing I love her.

What we didn't like this time which we've never experienced this before with one of the staff members when we walked in yes we were a little bit before we were early before check-in and the lady we had spoke to was completely rude didn't offer us a parking pass like everybody else normally has in the until the rooms clean we couldn't use the pool she never offered that she told us to come back very unprofessional but when the manager found out when we came back 3 hours later she took great care of us.

Stayed at Hawaiian Inn before. Rooms vary depending on who owns them. Pool is very good. Beach and location are very good. Our room faced the beach which was great.

This particular room 433. The matress could have been softer. Hard to sleep on. Some areas of the room had dust. Re-cleaned the sliding glass door myself to see better view. It was not clean, and the balcony had a layer of dirt. The balcony chairs are out of date, not comfortable and should be replaced.

Finally, a hotel that wasn't overpriced like so many in Daytona Beach are during the off season. Checkin process perfect and the hostess was a delight and happy. The HVAC worked perfectly and did NOT smell bad (musty/dirty). Pool bar/resto will be perfect when finished. It doesn't need a giftshop or a restaurant. They are close enough It doesn't need a workout room. Walk bike on the beach is a better option. TV was perfectly mounted up and out of the way. And worked perfectly. Most of all... every room was an ocean view.....

House keeping could do a better job. The hotel was clean... but dirty around the edges. Get rid of the bed spreads. (No one useses them anyway). Make it a three sheet bed with a heavier top sheet, two more pillows Drinking glasses were dirty and no dish soap/sponge to clean I had to hand wash with the shampoo. A list of close restaurants would have been nice.

All of the staff are very polite, informative and accommodating. Room was super clean and well stocked in the kitchenette. The view from our room was superb!

Needs some general upgrades like replacing the carpeting in the rooms and bigger TV’s. More towels and pillows would make it more comfortable. The pool being lit would brighten the hotel aesthetics at night. More bar stools for the outside bar and more seating for the pool. A lot of the chairs were broken.

The pool was amazing and the tiki bar was nice. It was nice to have such a big area around the pool to just relax. If we were to ever go back we would ask for pool side view instead of ocean front view.

We did not like that the balcony right next to ours was absolutely disgusting and had peigons living on it, when we brought it up to the staff they said that someone else complained as well but there is nothing they can do because it was a privately owned room.

Well as soon as we enter into our room and store away our belongings turn the TV on didn't work call front desk she sent someone immediately he came but couldn't fix it he went and brought 3 other TVs and he didn't know how to hook the cable up so we were left without TV in our room for over 2 and half hour we start watching TV on our cell phone and the rooms wasn't as clean the lamps had so much rust and dust not one day were we offer change of sheets washcloth nothing so we went out and bought bath cloth and other things
