We would like to have been able to access the beach while the pool was under construction but understand now that we were there. That was a little unclear beforehand. There were many cheerleaders there for competition and they blocked the pull through for vehicles and ran quite a bit upstairs at night. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It will be very nice once the pool area and patio are done. Our views was great The location was good. Very close beach access. The AC was a little touchy. One bed was more comfortable than the other. Overall we had a very nice family stay.

Everything about this property was wonderful. The staff was above and beyond - friendly and accommodating. The entire building and our room was top notch clean. The dog park was a perfect fit for our small dog. The pool and provided chairs were perfect proximity to the beach. The breakfast each morning was perfect. The housekeeping staff is some of the best I’ve seen anywhere I have ever stayed. The pool was clean and never crowded. The on site parking was nice. We were very thankful for the on site laundry machines and products due to one of our kids spilling something in their suitcase. We booked our second stay while still here!

I could not say one negative thing about this property.

Everything was great from the moment we checked in. Every staff member was exceptionally friendly and willing to help in any way needed. The room had plenty of space, and the bed was very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower which was a big plus. The small kitchenette was great, even though we didn't take advantage of the 2 burner cook top. Very convenient access to the beach located on both sides of the hotel. 1 with steps and the other with a ramp which was very appreciated being a had a wagon for the beach. The hot breakfast was great. I am picky about my grits, and their cheese grits almost taste like my own, almost lol Several things to choose from for breakfast, but no fruit options. What impressed me the most was the coffee machine. So many options, not just a Mr Coffee coffee pot type thing. This thing made from Expresso's to Latte's and Cappuccino's. It was fantastic!! Also loved the little sitting area out front. The swing chairs were comfy and relaxing. Great restaurants nearby, and an awesome place called YaYa's for karaoke was a huge bonus!! Needless to say... I would most definitely stay here again.

Everything was great!!

The beach is right there. Short walk across the pool area, down some steps and you’re on the beach! Great location! The front desk staff were awesome. So friendly and accommodating. They are pet friendly too which is a big plus for us!

The property needs some love. Definitely in need of renovations but I understand they are going to be doing that shortly. The floors were dirty but fortunately they had a mop and bucket in the hall for guest to use. I did have to use it a few times. I don’t think they mop the room it’s just sweep after each guest.

We loved everything!! The outside of the lobby is just beautiful!! All of the artwork and statues outside and inside r great!! The lobby is inviting and clean. I've never seen a lobby with fresh coffee all day every day for the guests. There r games and books and the breakfast is fabulous!! The rooms were perfect! Not overly large but just the right size with incredible views and a pool!! We loved the kitchenette with the full size refrigerator. I could go on and on....... It was a perfect mini vacation with our grandkids!!

That we had to leave!!

It was on the beach. Nice pool area. A decent breakfast to get you started for the day. There’s no bacon and scrambled eggs but they did have boiled eggs and yogurt. Along with coffee, grits, and other carbs and sugar items. It’s nice to have a few healthy options.

Parking was an issue. It’s a small parking and we were not able to find a spot to park a couple of the nights. This shouldn’t be an issue for paying guests. Maybe one parking spot per room and # the parking spot to prevent this from happening in the future.

The location was great. The staff was wonderful, and the grab and go breakfast was the best I’ve had.

The things I didn’t like are things that could not be helped. A storm has came through and destroyed most of the hotels on the strips pool. There was no pool or beach access at the hotel. There is beach access just on the other side of the hotel next door and it was not a far walk.

The staff was fully transparent regarding no pool or direct beach/ocean access and they offered the opportunity to cancel in an email sent right after booking. We were ok with the situation and kept our reservation. Happily, we were allowed to check in early and walk to the public beach entrance just down the street. We had an ocean front king room with an amazing view (if you looked past the construction below). Coffee & breakfast was acceptable for our one-night stay. I recommend everyone just take it for what it is and keep your expectations in line. For this being a boutique 2-star hotel oceanfront, it is a value and the staff does a good job of making sure guests are comfortable. We had no issues with parking, and it was Labor Day weekend.

The rooms are not completely renovated. Painted walls, bathroom is somewhat upgraded but the toilet seat wouldn't stay up, so my husband had to hold it up every time he used it. The bathroom is small and opening/closing the door is tight against the shower & toilet. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, like an old memory foam mattress, and the pillows were hard as a rock. The safe didn't operate, no battery? The overall room, however, is quite spacious with a kitchenette and table. Small balcony, we couldn't really sit as the chairs were very sandy and the a/c is right there, but the view was perfect.

This is a very nice hotel with excellent staff. This is not the Hilton by no means but for my stay with their pool and beach access closed the room was incredibly priced. The room was spacious and while the beds are not the most aesthically pleasing they did sleep well. Shower had plenty of hot water and towels. I would and will stay here again assumming once the pool and beach access is restored that the prices do not jump significantly.

Awesome staff entire place was spotless. Despite the fact that the property still had damage from previous storm. They informed us of the fact that there was no beach access or pool as soon as we booked. This is an older hotel but there are so many positives the negatives need no mention. In fact the coffee options were incredible and free! All of the staff was super attentive to all our needs. It was jeep week and we were on motorcycles. The two young lady’s that worked evenings at the desk made sure we had parking with the hotel being full with all the over sized monster jeeps that filled the lot. Wish I could remember there names. With all this being said our experience was on point every one working there showed ownership in there job/position great team effort was put forth to make our stay first class. We hope to make this an annual stop.

With the fantastic service that we received the few small items that need attention is not worth mentioning
