The most balanced, in terms of price-quality ratio, thermal hotel in Montegroto - Terme. (I can competently compare, I have been to almost all the hotels in the city, on this trip I stayed in 3 different ones). Very hospitable and cozy, a decent thermal spa area, in addition to thermal pools and a sauna, a public aromatherapy area and a hamam. I would like to separately note the high professionalism of the hotel staff, the girl in charge of the pools, generally amazes with her energy and responsibility, ideal order and cleanliness, water quality checks every hour, in all 3 pools. Thank you and I will definitely come again.

The rooms (we tried two) were large and very comfortable. The bathroom with the large bath was very luxurious. The spa pool and the warm swimming pool were absolutely delightful. The staff were lovely (with the exception of one duty manager on reception), especially the staff in the pool restaurant/bar. We walked from the train station which was an easy 10 minute walk.

Nothing really. We changed rooms because our original room had a disappointing view, compared to that shown online, and the layout was a bit odd, but as the hotel was relatively quiet, there was no problem doing this. as vegans our food options were quite limited, but once we discovered spaghetti al Pomodoro in the pool restaurant, we basically had this for three nights.

We were given a large room with 2 balconies! The room had a walk-in wardrobe and 2 armchairs giving us another place to relax other than the comfy bed. The thermal bath & saunas were perfect after a long day in Venice. The close proximity to the train station allowed us to reach Venice in about an hour. They also had a Tesla destination charger that could be used for 30€ per session. The breakfast spread was quite good including 1 warm dish for Vegan guests as well :)

Our room got direct afternoon sun, and got really warm in the evenings. Although there was an air conditioner, it didn't work and when I enquired about it, they asked us to open the windows (as if they weren't already open). They couldn't even provide us with a fan. This made it difficult to fall asleep, although the breeze was cooler in the night.

All facilities and SPA-center were excellent, also my room was beautiful, wonderful place, rich breakfast, friendly staff, great price. but unfortunately, it wasn't as quiet as I waited

I got room which was with door-connecting other room, and through this door I could hear everything that was happening in the next room, and there were some pretty loud residents there

We have chosen the hotel due to its location close to the train station. This enable us to have an easy access to Padova, Venice etc. The hotel is from late sixties but it is well maintained. The pools are great and open till 11 p.m. what was an additional bonus. The swimming pool area was very clean, and the staff there was very helpful and friendly (especially Eluar who was very supportive and keen to share his knowledge about thermal water). The breakfast and dinner was very good, with very kind staff (special thanks to Rafaela and all the waiters). The room is basic but has everything we needed. The cleaning service was also very good. We enjoyed very much our stay and will definitely come back.

1. The only huge drawback was practical no wifi. We could not connect to internet not only in the room, but also in the reception area the speed of the connection was very, very poor. So no possibilities to work on computer using the hotel network. This is a pity as in contemporary times the internet connection should not be any problem. This seriously disappointed us. 2. We also believe that the parking area is too small for such big hotel, because it was always overcrowded 3. Small but worth to mention is that the room safe could be really bigger (it is so small that you may put there your passport, mobile phone and not really many more)

The hotel is very well kept and the rooms (executive suite) are spacious and clean. We had a nice view of the mountains as well which made it beautiful to wake up to. The swimming pools are really nice and it is a relaxing space. Exceptional was the staff (the woman from the reception). I ended up getting sick a couple of days and the staff was so kind to offer roomservice for both breakfast and dinner, that really helped a lot. The food from the restaurant is sublime, for a good price you will get a 3/4 course dinner and everything is delicious. The breakfast is extensive with lots of choices.

The mattress on the beds were quite hard. We did not get a lot of information when checking in, for example how to book a massage, that a reservation for the restaurant was necessary, this would've been more useful.

It was a recreational trip and I stayed at the hotel most of the time and I totally loved it! Food: is the highlight of the trip. I had breakfast and dinner, and everything was so unbelievably tasty! Pools, saunas and wellness: are the second highlight of the trip. All very clean and comfortable: soothing thermal water, aromatic hammam, professional massages. Will additionally mention the staff everywhere in the hotel: all very nice and friendly, very helpful and understanding, always smiling. They made this a great stay!

The bed was a bit hard for my liking. Cicadas noise was overwhelming at first, but then I got used to it and found it rather soothing.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The pools were nice, the water was warm. The Turkish bath area was amazing. The staff was great, especially the ladies from the beauty center. I had a massage with Roberta and a wrapping treatment with Rafaella and they were both really nice and professional. Dinner was delicious, it was a lot of food! We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet selection and the fresh fruit.

Generaly speaking people in Italy are extremely nice but at this hotel it goes beyond, the people working there are a gem and makes your stay heaven. They take care of you and your stay. Best customer care I have seen in years. The massages were fantastic and very relaxing, quality price very good compared to other european countries. Very silent and quiet room areas; I think this is the first hotel were I did not hear any slamming doors from other rooms, or anyone walking up and down the corridor, nor did I hear a sound from other rooms. Very relaxing indeed. Food was very varied, nice selection of daily cheese, fruit, you will earn some "positive" weight 😉 Real italian food and recepies, savoury, comfort food. Very nice and useful to have bikes for free to go around this beautiful and peaceful town. Garden, Spa, swimming pools and sauna are comfortable, relaxing areas, clean. The Hotel Ambiente is family oriented, couples of all ages, some solo travellers, all to enjoy and have some relaxing, no stress, quietness time.

If there is anything.... my pillows were a little bit to high compared to what I am used to. Not dramatic though. Shower was rather small and I am small... Besides that, it is difficult that you dont enjoy your stay 😊

The place was amazing, reminded us of staying in Singapore rather than Italy, with the palm trees out front and the green lawns around. The reception staff were friendly, as were the staff everywhere else. The pools were warm and warmer, not crowded, with various options to pummell tired shoulders after a long drive - lovely. The garden with the sun loungers was quite attractive to walk through and again not too crowded, all well arranged. It was a Saturday and on Saturdays they have a welcome drink and accompanying food prior to dinner. This was a big surprise. We thought it would be just a drink then go into dinner but no, there were trays of "finger" food and choices of sparkling wine, Aperol or a non alcoholic option. All free and as much as you like. Then came dinner, we had opted to include dinner, it was a choice of 4 options for each of the 2 courses and then dessert. After the welcome drink we all waited to go into the dining room. The food was good and plenty of it, we had a wonderful girl/lady looking after us called Francesca. Breakfast was very good.

Our room was at the front of the hotel immediately over the bar area and after dinner there was music in the piano bar which was quite loud and went on quite late. Not the best location for a room if you want an early night. The Aircon didn't seem to make much difference to the temperature in the room so it was not an option not to open the window but the music didn't help the peace even if the open window helped them temperature.
