The staff here were absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to help us when we arrived early, allowing us to keep our food cool in the fridge. They had even upgraded us to a larger unit to accommodate the family better. I realise that this wouldn't always be possible due to other bookings but this was outstanding service and we very much appreciated it. Our family had a lovely stay - I wish we could have stayed longer now! Kitchen and bathroom were well kitted out and had everything we needed + more. It was a real "home away from home". The touch lamps in our particular rooms where a lovely touch too.

Loved everything about our stay. The hosts were warm and inviting. Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. Beds were very comfortable and the bedding is oh so snuggly. Great water pressure too. Fantastic location, right in the middle of the Opuke pools and town center, walking distance both ways. Very quiet which I loved. No sky tv however they have a huge range of DVDs to choose from in the office. Watched some absolute classics with my daughter which made our stay just that little bit more special. Thank you!

Super cute, newly renovated clean motel, loved the parking right outside the room. Comfortable, large space, and clean, like spotless clean. Club chairs, not a sofa but a TV that works, decent bed, hob, fridge, dishes. Location location location, 5 minutes to breakfast, lunch or dinner. Reception was super nice, even the guests in neighbouring rooms were super. Highly recommend Green Parrot and Molecule (both owned by the same people) amazing food and great atmosphere in both.

Loveseat instead of chairs, but honestly 1st world problems, haha

It's good value for money in a great location 5 minute walk into town and 2 min walk to the hot pools also close to drive to Mt Hutt. The beds are very comfy and the spa bath is the best. It's quiet and has great wifi.

Would be good to have a frying pan and cheese grater. Would be nice to have hot chocolate refilled, especially when we were staying for 6 nights.

Immaculate room. Awesome hosts! They were very knowledgeable about the area and where to dine. Cafe 45 does great coffee and salmon bagels! The room has everything you need for a stay away from home. Very warm with the heatpump. Gorgeous view of the snow-capped mountains. Fantastic location, a short walking distance to the town centre, a couple of minutes drive to the hot pools and about 15 minutes to Stavely ice skating rink.

Our bed did feel like it was due to be replaced, squeaked with movement when sleeping, but otherwise we will be back!

A short walk to the Opuke pools and also into the town centre. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm & quiet. The shower had great water pressure! Would definitely stay again.

It would be good if the windows had net curtains. There is no privacy in the room unless drapes are pulled. Not a big issue though. Just would have been nice to see out instead of pulling the drapes when we were getting changed etc.

They supplied plenty of coffee/milk/hot chocolate and tea and were wonderful people. PLENTY of hot water to draw a nice bath after visiting Mt Hutt. The entire unit & bathroom was spacious.

I wish there was a frying pan to cook in the kitchenette. They did provide an airfryer and some pots though, but it's not the same.

A lovely, clean spacious apartment, we felt really comfortable and at home. Nice and close for a visit to the hot pools down the road. Great shower and very comfortable beds and beautiful view from our apartment. Easy walk to find somewhere for dinner, we enjoyed the Blue Pub. Thank you for the warm welcome, we will be back to stay again for our next trip to Methven and for a longer stay next time.

We stayed on a weekend trip to Methven. Location was fantastic, halfway between the hot pools and the shops. Lesley greeted us warmly when we arrived and we were able to grab some DVDs to watch in the room - excellent selection! The room was a great size, kitchenette had everything you need. The bedrooms were lovely and clean, and the beds were very comfy. Will absolutely be staying again.

Great location within a short walking distance from hot pools and town centre. The room was spacious, kitchen well equipped and the bathroom had a bathtub. Everything was really well maintained, clean and felt very well looked after. The owners were welcoming and friendly. I'd absolutely stay again.

I'd have liked a choice of flatter pillows and a windown that could be left open overnight.
