The staff were so helpful, we had driven up from Sheffield (12hrs drive including stops), they booked us a table for an evening meal.in the bistro which was excellently cooked. The rooms were good sizes, comfortable and clean. We only stayed one night before getting the ferry to Orkney from Scrabstee would have happily stayed a couple more

Location. Meal was nice in the restaurant and young man was helpful when we couldn’t get into the room allocate to us.

Some initial problems with door locks not functioning well and made us concerned about being able to lock and get back into the room. Also instead of normal size towels we were left with 3 hand towels to use.

The location is brilliant - you’re a short walk from all the main sites in Thurso - river walk, beach, town centre etc. The room was super clean and was refreshed every day of my stay. No breakfast is provided but the inn downstairs does great food.

T H E N O I S E! Beware if you go to bed early you’re right beside / on top of a very noisy and busy pub. Think rock / metal / indie ballads and naff dance tunes full volume till midnight. Then folk leaving and having to shout at each other as they’re all deaf due to the loud music…

Wonderful service and excellent bed…so quiet it was great! And would recommend this place over and over! Lovely and walkable to all of Thurso and across the street from Coop Grocery. Additional was great restaurant attached - The Grill at YNot - excellent service and delicious food.

Good sized room and a modern bath. I had great natural light in the room. It was in a good location. The restaurant served excellent food. Co Op food was very close by.

No breakfast included and they had some construction at the entrance. Otherwise, it is a nice spot.

Incredible room. Large, nice windows. Clean. Staff were helpful, kind, and went the extra mile to help with luggage and to get us places to sit in the restaurant for meals.

The stairs were a lot to navigate for someone with mobility issues.

We had a fab stay, the room was huge and we were treated to a super king size bed! We had food in the restaurant which was lovely. They did have a breakfast menu as well.

Shower was a bit tricky due to it being fully fixed in but was working fine.

I stayed on a Saturday night. The music was very loud. It did stop at 2300 but for some reason started again around 2345 for another 15 minutes or so.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shower was spacious and had powerful water flow.

I had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was of average fayre. The room was rather small as it was on the top floor but fine for single occupancy.

Very large room. Comfy and warm and quiet. The staff were lovely and it was close to the coop. Very central. Breakfast choices really good and from 8 to 12 which is unusual. Just around the corner from bus stop so really easy to travel around Caithness.
