Lovely, charming small resort with kind stuff who were there but not too intrusive ( highly appreciated!) and slice of remote, quiet paradise. The beach bungalow was spacious, well air-conditioned with enough privacy yet being able to see the sunrise and sunset from the bed .

It is really cut off from everything when you without car, getting cash is a challenge. I wish there was more communication upfront about this or the taxi situation getting there.

Where to start , it's a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. There is no 711 no random sellers on the beach just pure relaxation. The pool is very large 1.7m in the deep end has a great kids pool and a seating area in the shallow end. The food is very reasonable and they currently have great deals on for the month of June for food / drinks. There are many great areas to relax in , on the beach by the pool or a few of the rooms have private seating areas. The staff are next level , very kind , helpful and caring. Nothing is ever an issue and they truly do go above and beyond. As explained previously in reviews they do host events but these are very short lived and the staff really do ensure inside guests are still well looked after. Would recommend embracing these as it's pretty sweet watching small elopement weddings from the pool ! The resort also host cooking classes which where very good value and a lot of fun. The staff really made this class something special. Just book already!!!!!

Some umbrellas around the pool area would be great as not a lot of shade here durning the day , but equally loads of shade and seating on the beach.

Location is great, rooms spacious, beachfront pool, good value for money

Hard to get space at pool, there was a wedding on one day which was right in front of my bungalow and was loud and intrusive but it did finish early, food portions very small for price

The resort is located directly in front of a private and peaceful beautiful beach. I’d read some reviews that said this resort offers the best sunset of Samui island.. I trusted it and I wasn’t disappointed. It was so beautiful! The staff is also helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant (especially for dinner) is authentic and delicious. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway on Samui, look no further. This is the place.

It is of course a bit far from the pier and the city or any other attractions. It takes 20-30 to Hin Ta Hin Yai for example. But with a motorbike, it’s doable.

I have been travelling Asia for 1 year now, and this was genuinely the best value for money place ever! It's got everything you need, fantastic views, exceptional food, lovely staff and more! Yes it's in a quiet area, not too much around but if you like to relax (away from the tourist side) this little place is a treasure. I cannot thank the staff enough for the amazing service to me and my family. Thank you so so much, I will DEFINITELY be back!

Nothing, this was a dream stay

A fantastic place to relax! The west side of Koh Samui is quiet and not crowded. There’s plenty of lush greenery, palm trees, and a serene, secluded beach. The only sounds I heard were geckos and various birds, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, the hotel is beautifully maintained and offers a truly pampering experience.

There are no power outlets in the bathroom or near the bed. They are only located behind the TV.

The Staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the pool was beautiful and clean and also the beach was very nice and small and comfortable seats. There were always only around 10 people at the beach and it was very quiet. Also it is on the right side for a beautiful sunset. Our room was big and very clean with a small terasse. The restaurant had very delicious food and reasonable prices. All in all a great stay with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and we will definitely be coming backy

It is quite far away from a convenience store but there is Grab and Scooters you can rent.

Am Samui Resort is tucked away perfectly on a beautiful private beach, right on the island's west side where you can catch stunning sunsets. If you're tired of the busy towns, this place is a peaceful sanctuary. The rooms at the resort are spacious, modern, and super comfy – a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The small pool is a gem, but the real winner is the private beach with its soft white sand and crystal-clear waters, just begging for long swims and strolls. Taling Ngam is mostly a local hangout, without all the loud bars and parties found elsewhere. It's the spot for authentic Thai cuisine at local prices, not the inflated tourist rates. Am Samui Resort welcomes everyone, whether you're traveling solo, with a romantic partner, as a digital nomad, or with your family. Despite its popularity, the resort doesn't get overcrowded, even during peak times. While the resort has dining options, I'd recommend venturing out to try the local food. Grabbing a scooter, which you can rent at the resort, is a smart move for discovering hidden culinary treasures in the area. Conclusion: In a nutshell, my stay at Am Samui Resort in Taling Ngam surpassed my expectations. If you're in search of a peaceful and picturesque escape, away from the crowds, this is your spot. I was so blown away that I've already locked in my next visit. Don't pass up on this little piece of paradise!

There is room for improvement in the breakfast options. Having stronger Wi-Fi in the rooms would be appreciated. An easy fix with Wifi extension.

The people at this place are lovely. The location is beautiful. The rooms are great. I took the newer apartment style rooms at the back and that was a really good choice. This is a very quiet location - there are some great restaurants nearby and one or two very quiet bars - so be prepared for that.

I really wish the staff would make a habit of cleaning up the debris from the beach. The cleaning staff were a little inconsistent in what towels they would leave but that didn't matter.
