Lovely Hostel, great location, so close to the beach. I travelled alone and never felt worried at all about this either at Los Corchos or while out in surrounding areas. The train station is a 15 minute walk from Los Corchos and when I found I arrived earlier than expected they let me check in early and at the end of my stay watched over my suitcase after checkout time while I spent my last few hours in Fuengirola. Staff are very friendly and helpful, helping me work out directions to somewhere I wanted to visit. Also another review mentioned the showers being poor but I didn't find this at all, the water pressure was good and nice and cold after a hot August day, but plenty of hot water if you had wanted this too

It would be nice if there was AC in the rooms as it was very hot overnight but I appreciate this would be expensive and potentially not possible, and hot nights are to be expected in Spain in August so it was fine!

It's a hostal!! No it's a hotel, and If i can give More stars i gave👌🇫🇮🇪🇦😂🏍️💯💯🥰...24hour security/bar/and free parking, and clenar woman is best on Andalusia on Spain!!! I am Finnish professional cleaner, it's spotless, and very friendly stuff and security also!! I recommended i'll be there over a month!!! 💯❤️🍷☀️🇪🇦

Location was ideal for Fuengirola and Los Boliches, bars and restaurants very close. One road back from the promenade so it's very close to the beach. Rooms were cleaned every day and the place was spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet at night, no loud music to be heard. If coming by train it's a 10 minute walk to the hotel from either Fuengirola or Los Boliches stations, more or less right in the middle of both. Free safety deposit box in the room. Friendly staff and very helpful.

Nothing not to like

The property was beautiful it’s a typical Spanish hostel with lots of charming character, that many would say ‘outdated’ but we prefer this, it had air con, Wi-Fi, underground parking, small bar and toasted baguettes were available, clean and staff very friendly, checked out in the morning and allowed us to keep our car there till late afternoon while we explored the area we will definitely re visit

Staff were really helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help thank you Property had plenty of towels extra blankets, heating and air conditioner, stools and chairs. Mirrors and plenty of drawers and hangers to put your clothes away. Beautiful view of the sea and beach from the window would really benefit from a balcony to sit outside and watch the see Soaps and shower gels supplied

Tiny shower barely any room to move or shower and the curtain sticks to you Pillows were a bit hard for me but that’s my personal choice as I like soft pillows Quite loud during the night with people moving along the corridor and opening and shutting doors

Nice and clean small hotel. Rooms are compact but have a coffee table with sofa type chair and a writing desk with chair,full length mirror and a small safe in the wardrobe. Central Aircon was pretty good and fairly quiet. Second line back from the beach so is normally quiet position for the hotel Easy access to bars and restaurants and just 7 minutes walk to the main bus and train terminal

Sound proofing is not very good so you can hear people talking etc especially at 3am

Room was way better! than on the picture. Location is perfect, 2 mins walk from the beach. Good restaurants around the corner, supermarket 5 mins walk from the property. Cleaning was daily, necessities were provided. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There is a parking garage, and even though they are not making reservations, there was place available for us for all stay. The way in/out garage is very narrow, so once the manager helped us on the way out. Highly recommended place, and really good value for money.

It would be much better if there was a refrigerator in the room.

Very clean place to stay. Parking on the street outside was easy to obtain. Nice wee bar in reception for a nightcap. Front desk always manned.

Shower doors were broken so a curtain was in place instead which was a little bit fiddly getting in and out. The curry house next door served the worst pakora and naan I have ever tasted (not the fault of the hostal of course). There was no tapas available in the bar which would have made me use it more. Single rooms in good hostals like this (and Hostal Italia along the road which I've used before) are very affordable for single travelers who basically are out all day and are only there to sleep from late at night to early in the morning.

Easy enough to find hotel, good to have underground parking (although we did only have a small car and spaces were a tight fit). Good sized room, but bed on small size, but was comfortable, so slept well. Tiny, tiny shower stall with shower head which did not fit the bracket provided, so you had to put it on the floor while washing your hair - frustrating! Great sea views and only a minutes walk to the beach. On a quiet road so great location.

Didn't enjoy using the tiny shower stall, also on day two (of three) we were not given any toiletries, not even toilet roll (dispite asking for some as almost run out). It is very noisey when other guests SLAM the doors, can this be stopped?? No mention was made of the bar downstairs, if we had been told about what they sold (and prices) we may have used the place. The hotel should consider putting information in the rooms.

Liked everything, can't find fault. Have stayed here before and booked to stay again. A beautiful floral fragrance in this hostal greets you. Friendly, helpful staff to welcome you and during your stay. So clean, well done to all the staff for making Los Corchos a lovely place to stay.

There is nothing not to like other than the time coming for us to leave but we shall be back. Thank you for everything, the perfect place for us to stay.
