Location was excellent, right in the historical centre and everything within walking distance. The breakfast was very good indeed. Wide choice and selection of tasty fresh fruit, cheeses, pastries and breads. Fresh tea and or coffee to order by the very friendly and attentive staff, always ready to serve.

The air conditioning was very difficult to make out. This meant that, at night the room got rather warm and uncomfortable. Could not open the windows as mosquitos would enter.

The staff was wonderful. The location was very convenient and central. The breakfast was also nice with fresh pastries from a local bakery.

I’m so sorry to say but the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. You could feel the springs inside it. I was given only 1 pillow & it was flat and hard, also very uncomfortable. Lastly, there is barely any lighting in the bathroom. There’s a weird multi-color led light in the shower, kind of like you’re at the club. I’ve never seen anything like that ever in a bathroom before! And 1 tiny ceiling light in the whole bathroom that illuminated nothing. It was very dark in there, which is so strange because it’s a very modern & new bathroom.

A truly surprising experience. An excellent value for money. Me & the team took place to a fair in Bologna and hotel Nazionale was the base of our trip, 40 min drive to the fair at 1/2 of price of a similar hotel in Bologna. Sparkling clean, exceptionally helpful staff. Really recommend.

Providing vegetables to breakfast and possibility to have omelettes for breakfast :). If you would improve / diversify the whole experience would be awesome!

The property was so close to the duomo and castle. We were able to walk to see all of the Christmas markets. There are plenty of stairs so please be mindful when booking this hotel. The breakfast was modest but delicious. The man at the front of reception was very kind and friendly.

It was a bit more expensive than we would have liked.

Perfect location, one step from the main square and cathedral and next the most enjoyable 'pasticceria' downtown. Well organized and comfortable small room, with the comfort of hotel accommodation and cozy as a beloved family home.

Some small details in the room would need a little bit of extra care, but staff was very prompt to assist. Mattress is more on the soft side, still enjoyable but better to ask for those with other preferences. Minifridge in the room is a question mark for the whole hotel industry: for the sake of environment, shall we reduce such waste of energy?

The breakfast could have been better, but this is a small hotel so I understand they cannot have everything.

The location is just perfect! In the very center, on a few minutes walking at the castel and just near all attractions and good restaurants. If you are coming by car parking is very nearby, and easy to handle all with very nice stuff. The room was very cozy, clean, and sunny with the little terrace, and the stuff was very helpful and excellent!

Central location in the old town near castle and cathedral. Renowated and clean room. Good restaurant next door.

Perfect location close to the cathedral and the castle! Very friendly, helpful staff! It's a historical old building but very modern and comfortable inside. We've loved the ceiling! Breakfast is average though, no vegetables available.
