The host was really kind to us and the room had everything which was necessary. The bed was really comfortable! The location is good. Close to the airport. Takes approximately 10 min to reach there.

Lots of mosquitos in the room - but maybe it was due to the season. Would be great to leave some mosquito coils for guests who come and stay. Hot water of the shower didn't work but for one night it was fine.

Excellent service - helpful staff and quiet spacious room. Stayed there before our 8 day tour and choose to return again after our tour. Airport transfer was included and they kindly did our return transfer at 2.15am without any charge. Restaurant very close by where we had the best food of our whole holiday and at a really reasonable price. Highly recommend Villa Ceylon and would stay there again if we return to Sri Lanka.

I had a wonderful short stay at Villa Ceylon. Despite our flight being delayed by 7 hours, Manoj and Rusiru went above and beyond to accommodate us, even allowing a late check-out, which was much appreciated. The room was spotless and had a lovely, clean terrace. Their hospitality and care truly made our stay pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place near Colombo Airport.

Great staff. Risuru and others were so nice.I chose this place at 5.00am in the morning because of problems of my flight. They picked me up from airport even I booked at 5 am. Room is very spacious and great location close to airport.They even help me to solve my flight problems and made calls. It’s close to beach and nice restaurants. Very interesting and authentic decoration. Amazing place for that price. Clean, safe and professional people taking care of all your needs promptly. Thank you very much Risuru.

I arrive quite late at 12 am, and they were prompt with their airport pickup. Checkin was hassle free and the room was large and clean. The AC was strong, bed was comfortable so i was well rested. In the morning they helped me with currency exchange and other guidance on how to get around. Perfect for airport layovers.

Very convenient hotel due to its proximity to the airport. The room was equipped with air conditioning, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby! The receptionist-driver, Isuru, was very polite and kind, managing to accommodate all our requests.

Nothing it’s was perfect

We stayed at this property in the day before our late 1am flight, which meant we could relax in close proximity to the airport. The property organise a free shuttle to the airport included in the price which takes the stress off planning, definitely recommend.

The place was wonderful and the staff were wonderful .. The place is very close to the airport and they delivered me to the airport for free two hours before the flight time. There is a receptionist called manoj lump, he was really at a high level of professionalism, friendly, helpful and smart.. I was pleased to stay with them, and the Wi-Fi is strong and fast, unlike most of the guest houses in the area. I highly recommend the place, whether it is your first day in Sri Lanka or the last day before leaving and returning to your country.

2 hour electricity outage in the evening, but this is problem of the whole area as local administration is deliberately switching off the power in order to safe diesel ( local powerplant is diesel based). there is a shortage of diesel in whole Sri Lanka at the moment . you can see huge lines on every gasstation. also there is a shortage of foreing currency.. i suggest to bring USD or EUR in cash… on black market you get up to 235 / 265 rupii pre USD / EUR. also government UNESCO sites such as Sigiriya or Polonaruwa, you can buy tickets only in cash USD or LKR
