Staff was Incredibly accommodating and even upgraded our room so that we had a better view. the facilities were nice as well, and included a gym, sauna, and hot tub. the rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. overall was a good Experience and would book there again if we are in the area. there was also some really great food not too far from the hotel, at sinful kitchen!

The layout of the space was a little confusing to me, but once we realized there were different doors for different parts of the facilities we were good to go!

Melissa checked us in and went above and beyond trying to help get me up out of low rental car. She is so pleasant and friendly.,

Our first night we were given the wrong handicapped room. I reserved the king room with the roll in shower but the room was double beds with a bathtub. I'm not able to get in a tub. The room was so, so. They put us in the king room the second night and the room was beautiful because it was newly renovated. My biggest concern is the toilet was too low and difficult to get up and down. The hotel needs to have a taller toilet in handicapped rooms.

Clean and convenient to dog shows and family

A couple was smoking in their car while I was unloading and their dog was unleashed and about to walk out near a car or looking for attention. Everyone should have their dogs on leashes at all times for the dog and everyone’s safety. I stopped the dog and directed it back to the owners, but obviously it didn’t want to be in smokey car. I love dogs and I only care❤️

The room was beautiful for the first floor .. staff was amazing and super helpful .. they need a restaurant again tho i think 🤔 but that's just my opinion .. this is practically my home town and its about time it's run properly again .. I remember when it was a Holiday Inn .. those were the days .. family is family is family ... lets start getting along can't we ? I mean what are we doing here ? So i have no complaints about my stay at the beautiful istablishment called the Fireside Inn .. ty 🥰

No complaints .. perfect spot

The most comfortable bed. Room was spacious with all necessary facilities. Convenient parking at the property. Good grab and go breakfast included.

It was a little further from the city than we realised. You definitely need a car if you want to explore the city region. Basic choice of fast food restaurants nearby. Great if you are just driving through as there is no need to drive through busy city traffic.

Everything about my stay. They allowed us to check in an hour earlier as we arrived early. No extra fees. We didn’t know snacks and breakfast was included with our stay. Which is super convenient, we didn’t have to spend extra money on breakfast. We checked out at 4:30am and there was also breakfast for us. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We weren’t far from tourist attractions which was great! Definitely would recommend. I would definitely come back for another stay.

Nothing. Everything was to our liking.

The hotel was right off the highway and easy to find. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We were close enough to Portland so we were able to spend the weekend visiting the sites.

The bathroom was small. My husband was too tall for the shower. There was no cleaning device - someone might not like that however we were fine with it.

We've stayed at this location twice now on our visits to Rockport. The best part is that we were able to walk from the hotel into the quaint, downtown area by the water. The rooms are good, the lobby is beautiful, and the breakfast is basic continental fare. Nice place, especially for the price, which tends to be less expensive than some surrounding properties.

Clean & affordable

1.No hot tub or sauna, I believe this should be in EVERY hotel especially in Maine. 2. Some of the other guests nearby were quite loud. Lots of banging, yelling, groaning etc. I had to keep my TV on all night to drown out the noise 3. The breakfast was terrible!

Loved how accommodating they were to our pets. They even provide water bowls. Yes, there’s a fee. But I’ve paid a fee at other places and never gotten a smile much less a water bowl. The staff greeted us with a smile and checked us in quickly. The location is perfect for the airport, parking is free and it’s an easy drive to downtown. I just wish they would update the property. They would be better able to justify the charge as it is very close to what the other nicer hotels charge.

Outdated carpet and tile makes it look dingy. No housekeeping service during our stay.
