So many things to love about the Fireside Inn. Great location, wonderful waterfront views, terrific on site restaurant with a true, cooked breakfast included with your stay. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable.

For me, I only wish the suites had a more comfortable chair in the room. It would be nice to have a chair that's more comfortable for just sitting back and reading or watching TV. Also, if you have any physical limitations, you need to make sure where your room is on a first floor, near parking as there is no elevator access.

Staff was Incredibly accommodating and even upgraded our room so that we had a better view. the facilities were nice as well, and included a gym, sauna, and hot tub. the rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. overall was a good Experience and would book there again if we are in the area. there was also some really great food not too far from the hotel, at sinful kitchen!

The layout of the space was a little confusing to me, but once we realized there were different doors for different parts of the facilities we were good to go!

Pleasant decor, nice facilities including the gym.

I came about 3a due to a delayed flight. I was exhausted and dumped out my stuff and went to use the bathroom. The sink was covered in grime from an apparent back up. The drain piece was broken and water was not draining. I had to change rooms. I feel that the hotel should have offered some compensation on this.

Melissa checked us in and went above and beyond trying to help get me up out of low rental car. She is so pleasant and friendly.,

Our first night we were given the wrong handicapped room. I reserved the king room with the roll in shower but the room was double beds with a bathtub. I'm not able to get in a tub. The room was so, so. They put us in the king room the second night and the room was beautiful because it was newly renovated. My biggest concern is the toilet was too low and difficult to get up and down. The hotel needs to have a taller toilet in handicapped rooms.

Location, cleanliness.

We didn't realize until check out that the breakfast options included breakfast sandwiches which had to be requested from the front desk - no one told us about that at check in and there was no signage about that on the table containing the prepackaged muffins and granola bars on offer

Clean and convenient to dog shows and family

A couple was smoking in their car while I was unloading and their dog was unleashed and about to walk out near a car or looking for attention. Everyone should have their dogs on leashes at all times for the dog and everyone’s safety. I stopped the dog and directed it back to the owners, but obviously it didn’t want to be in smokey car. I love dogs and I only care❤️

The room was beautiful for the first floor .. staff was amazing and super helpful .. they need a restaurant again tho i think 🤔 but that's just my opinion .. this is practically my home town and its about time it's run properly again .. I remember when it was a Holiday Inn .. those were the days .. family is family is family ... lets start getting along can't we ? I mean what are we doing here ? So i have no complaints about my stay at the beautiful istablishment called the Fireside Inn .. ty 🥰

The most comfortable bed. Room was spacious with all necessary facilities. Convenient parking at the property. Good grab and go breakfast included.

It was a little further from the city than we realised. You definitely need a car if you want to explore the city region. Basic choice of fast food restaurants nearby. Great if you are just driving through as there is no need to drive through busy city traffic.

The hotel was right off the highway and easy to find. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We were close enough to Portland so we were able to spend the weekend visiting the sites.

The bathroom was small. My husband was too tall for the shower. There was no cleaning device - someone might not like that however we were fine with it.

The convenience of location to the airport for our last night in Maine was perfect. When searching hotels, the most important item is cleanliness. This place lived up to ratings. Breakfast was provided, and egg sandwiches were on the menu. An added bonus. Staff was exceptional.
