Convenient to our family, and to various places— the ocean, downtown Portland. We brought our dog— it was easy to bring her outside to do her business. They provide the plastic bags to clean up after. Ample free parking. Room was clean.

Minor details— bed not quite as comfortable as in some other places I have stayed. No free coffee in the lobby, no creamer in the lobby. Fitness room only open until 8 pm. Initial front desk person was like the “Bueller? Bueller?” guy in that movie. The other staff were very friendly . But we will likely stay there again when we visit our family member. Best value in the area from what I can see.

Location and cleanliness were good with respect to our travel plans. Its easy off/on to I295 and plenty of restaurants within a 10-15 minute easy drive. Later checkout made us not feel rushed.

Only 1 thing... it would have been nice if free coffee was available in the lobby as many other hotels offer it. There is a little coffee machine in the room, but that coffee is marginal and means making noise while others are still sleeping. Coffee is available for sale in the restaurant.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I am currently undergoing radiation treatment at Maine Medical Center for brain cancer and have to use a walker to get around, and upon check-in, I was placed on the first floor. I was very uncomfortable in the room I was in due to it being on the ground level, and I have very high anxiety. I went to the front desk, and the gentleman was very helpful and accommodating and moved my room to the 5th floor and also helped me move my belongings to the new room as well.

It's not very handicap accessible. The bathroom was very small, and someone in a wheelchair would not be able to access it easily at all. I had difficulty with just my walker.

Room was clean and well stocked. Check in process was easy. Pool was clean and heated. Gym existed and looked clean (we didn't use it). Room was a bit outdated, but for $100 a night it really doesn't get better than that. It was clean and that's all that matters. Within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to a pizza place, a couple convenience stores and multiple breweries. Bus and amtrak station are right next door.

The elevator is tiny and very slow. If you're traveling with more than 2-3 people and luggage you'll need to take more than one trip. Not a con, just good to know.

The location was a little unusual, but it was close to amenities- gas station, donut shop and grocery shopping. The room was smaller than I anticipated, but we didn't stay in our room for long periods, so it was okay. It was mostly clean, though I suggest washing the walls once in awhile. The beds were clean and the bathrooms. We used the coffee pot, which was nice to have. The kids loved the pool area.

I suggest washing the walls once in awhile and the stairways. Also the pool towels could be larger.

Great location for our weekend visit to attend a wedding. Overall quiet room except from noise in hallway in morning. Parking was a total mess when we arrived on Thursday due to a nearby concert. Seems property does not prevent non-guests from parking so by 5pm every parking spot was full and hotel guests were just starting to arrive by car.

For the price, breakfast should be included! Parking is an issue at times and a real issue during local concert events!

Everything! Huge room, comfortable bed, big chair in room, nice staff. And absolutely amazing indoor pool and hot tub!! It was perfect on a cool, misty night. Location was excellent, about a 5 minute drive to cool downtown things. Also right next to Bissell Brothers Brewery and the International Cryptozoology Museum (it's weird, if you're bored and like weird things, check it out). I didn't try breakfast because I didn't want to pay extra and there are much better options in town.

Elevator was a little slow but stairs were very easy to find! Otherwise, I loved everything.

I like how it was in the center of the Portland area, and was in short driving distance to the Portland Seadogs Stadium, and was overall a good place to stay for 1 night! If I'm in the area again I'd definitely come back

I'm not going to lie, finding it was tough because the photos of the outside didn't match what the building looked like, and there weren't many signs, but we eventually found it. Highly suggests taking a new photo of the front so people can see it better

This was about a five minute walk from the train station (Portland Transportation Center) so worked great for my 2am arrival via Amtrak. I was visiting family in the hospital, and it was a bit more than a mile from the hospital. They were also able to hold my luggage in a locked room. My room was spacious and clean; only used it to sleep and shower after my trip, checked out early the next morning and well met my needs. Would have stayed another night as family member's stay in hospital was extended, but next night was booked. Clarion was better than the hotel used the following night.

The location, pool, and spa were fantastic! The room was also nice and quiet, even though we had kids staying nearby.

The bathtub and shower were cramped and tiny, and the drain didn’t work correctly. We found lots of long dark hairs in the towels as well. Breakfast staff were very kind, but front desk staff were unfriendly.
