Customer Service, we got to our room and it smelled like smoke, cigarettes , we called and asked to be moved. They were able to accomadate us right away. Breakfast was great! the omlette station was a hit with my oldest son and husband. The room we ended up in was clean and enjoyed the separate TV area and sleeping area.

The smell in the first room, as we were told all rooms were non smoking.

Gabi, the person who checked me in, offered me a room they had saved for themselves in case the weather was too bad to drive home at the end of their shift. The hotel was otherwise sold out and Booking.com messed up my reservation so I wasn’t in the system. Gabi is a hero! The staff are amazing. Kind, friendly, smart. And the 5am shuttle to the airport was fast and easy.

I won’t book at this hotel via Booking.com again. When I tried calling about the reservation, I was on hold 15 min before a customer service rep picked up and the due to some technical issue on their end, put me on hold for another 10 min and then the call disconnected. My Booking.com reservation was not visible by the hotel staff and it is only thanks to the generosity of a smart staff person that it all worked out. I have used Booking.com for years and now will return to booking directly with hotels whenever possible. Yech.

The staff was great. Breakfast was good.

The fee for parking at the hotel. Paying $200 a night for two nights should include parking especially for handicapped. The breakfast was plentiful and I think the hot plates need to be replaced with something to make the food hotter the eggs and French toast and bacon and sausage were in a bowl with a cover. I really think it should be hotter because they really weren’t that hot. In fact the French toast was kind of cold and they had to put another bowl out. The maid service does not come unless you probably requested the tag on the door doesn’t say made service, please

Amazing location right next door to the airport, and the shuttle service was absolutely essential during the winter storm.

You will want to bring coffee from somewhere else. For as nice as this hotel is, the coffee was absolutely terrible. Seriously wtf are you guys serving? At almost $200/night - absolutely not. Do better. Partner with some local roasters. For christsakes stop serving Folgers at your hotel.

The staff was very courteous and getting the shuttle to pick us up at another hotel that was atrocious and they gladly picked us up. Took us to Downtown Portland as well as the train station. The breakfast was excellent, the HH was excellent, the bartender Lauren was great, the shuttle drivers Ashley amd Richie were also great.

The only negative was the setup of the weight room , it was attached to the swimming pool entrance and too many kids would come through. But that wasn't staff fault it was whomever designed the renovations there at hotel

What tipped the scale in Embassy Suites favor, was that they replied to my message by offering to pick me up from the train station. I would like to thank the young lady who picked me up, the gentleman and young lady who checked me in. Thank you to the young lady who took my order in the restaurant, the breakfast staff in the morning, Rosemarie the Receptionist who checked me out and the young man who took me to the airport where I was to meet up with my friends. Breakfast was well done with plenty of food available. I also liked the idea that transportation was available to downtown Portland. it was a vwonderful location,. I would most certainly stay again and recommend to family/friends.

In all the hotels that i went, it was the best staff that i have ever seen. They were very helpful and caring. Everytime i had questions, they were there for me. Also the room was clean, nice and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast is AMAZING , you have also a chef who can do what you want and i love the idea of free snacks in the afternoon and the free consommation of alcohol. It was nice that the parking was free too.

Everything was fine!! Even the location is good if you have a car but it may be a little bit difficult if you dont have one to go to touristic places if you are here as a tourist

Stuff at the front desk was really nice and friendly. They offer a free shuttle bus to the airport. You can actually walk to the airport in less than 10 minutes. Breakfast was complementary, which was good. They have coffee to go, snacks and fruits as well. Room was very cleaned and large. The room we stay was a suite which was above the expectation.

The only concern we have is the curtain. The thick curtain cannot close due to the design, but the light from the airport was pretty bright. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The property was clean and well taken care of. It was close to where we needed to be which made it very convenient. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The cocktail hour they provided with light snacks for all was such a nice feature. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The only negative to our stay was upon entering our room our beds were covered in random hair and very visible on white bedding! The carpet also didn’t appear as if it had been vacuumed despite a “clean room”. We immediately called the front desk and they offered to give us a new room or have housekeeping come up and address our concerns right away. This was greatly appreciated.

Kids loved the pool, and the housekeeping staff was awesome. They honestly are why I would stay again if I visit Portland in the future, they were all so polite and helpful, always with a smile... I know it made me feel more comfortable and "at home"

The elevators are sooooo slow. But that's like the only thing, and just about everyone commented on it during elevator rides. The price was also a bit much, I think... Roughly $850 for three nights is kinda ouchie, especially for a widowed mom of 3 who just graduated with her bachelors; this was all I could find with vacancies and enough room for 5 people and a doggo. But, all in all, I would stay again if I visit Portland again in the future.
