New hotel, modern and clean. Great contemporary design in rooms and lobby. Efficiently designed rooms.

No opportunity to park your own car and no EV chargers in hotel garage.

I am not normally a fan of staying at chain hotels, but I have to admit in this case I was very pleasantly surprised! While this was clearly a corporate hotel, the front desk staff was actually really friendly, and the service across the board was great. I love how clean and efficient the rooms are.

The only thing I didn't like is really just a small nitpick. I used the gym several times, and it's a great little gym, but the lights on in the gym turn off very quickly and it happens while you are exercising. They only turn back on if you go to the sensor at the front of the room, but if you are running on a treadmill or weightlifting, the sensor can't see you! How annoying!! Still, that didn't detract from my stay so I still give this place a 10/10.

We stayed on the 6th floor for a night out. In the old port. The room was beautiful. The view was even better from the room. It was beautiful to look out the massive windows at night with all the lights and just as beautiful the next morning. The bar down stairs in the lobby made fantastic drinks they have a pool table in the lobby as well. We sadly left without trying the breakfast or anything else in the hotel beside the bar and enjoying the room. But it was very nice we will for sure go back and stay again my new favorite hotel in oldport.

Booking.com messed up our booking so had to sit for half an hour at the counter trying to get it sorted..

We loved our stay at Aloft. The common areas were clean, and comfortable. The room felt very clean, and modern. The decor was fun! The bed was SO comfortable. We loved that the tv was on a moveable mount, so it could be easy to view from all areas. The view of the water was nice, too! We spent some time playing pool in the lounge area, and ordered drinks at the bar. The drinks were fantastic, and we loved getting to relax at the hotel. The fact that the hotel is just on the edge of the main Old Port area made it convenient enough to walk to great shops and restaurants, but not so in the middle of everything we felt overwhelmed.

The bathroom being mostly part of the open room was a bit awkward (the sink and shower area was divided off by a partial wall). A sliding door to the small toilet alcove is not something we're fans of anywhere, as it doesn't feel like it offers enough privacy. And, while the room had a cool, modern feel, the mostly bare floor and high ceiling did make it feel a bit echoy at times.

Great location, walking distance to all the local restaurants, bars, activities and shopping. Beautiful property with very helpful front desk management. Nice spacious room with big window and fun lobby with a bar and seating.

This hotel allows dogs and there were way too many people bringing their dogs. We heard a dog barking in the room above us for the majority of our stay, seeing as they left their dog in the room all day. We notified the front desk twice and she was very nice and called the room, however it never resolved the issue. Disappointed since this was not an inexpensive stay. Would choose a different hotel next time to avoid this issue.

The breakfast sandwich I had was good, but I expected a full-service restaurant based on Booking.com’s description. Otherwise, the accommodations were great. The view from the hotel room was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Love the layout of the room.

I expected a full-service restaurant rather than just a refueling area. Booking.com indicated there was a restaurant on-site, but what was offered was merely pre-prepared food, which doesn’t align with the typical description of a restaurant.

We stayed in a double queen waterfront room. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and the view was beautiful. Blackout curtains in the room are excellent. Hotel is located close to most things. We walked everywhere with no issue. Location feels safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is some free street parking around the hotel. Cool bar area.

Water pressure in shower is inadequate. Door to toilet does not really close so noise/smells will be very noticeable. [sliding/barn door style]

I love how cute the rooms are. Everything is modern and neat.

I really dislike the open concept bathrooms. First of all it makes it difficult to keep the bathroom warm, but the lighting in it is also too low and above my head in the mirror, so putting on makeup was weird. The room temperature controls also skewed cold. Between the room being cold and the bathroom not being sealable I spent a lot of time cold and it would wake me up at night.

Great location, great staff, very clean, modern decor, bartender Chris was fantastic!!

We stayed in a 2 queen bed room - so I’m thinking 2 couples or mom/dad/2 kids or 2 friends, etc. There is NO PRIVACY to shower or get dresser. There is a door to the potty but nothing separating the room and the sink/shower. And to make it worse, there’s a huge mirror sitting between the 2 rooms to make your nekkidness even more visible. If my teenage boys were traveling with me, they would have been mortified.
